It mentions UK-CPS as their client.
If Tomtwig's is the same, and he says there is no CCJ against him, then this seems to be a rather aggressive debt collection tactic.
Expensive too - adding more than double to the alleged debt.0 -
according to that link its not Civil Enforcement Ltd , ie: not CEL
its Civil Enforcement Agency , of Leeds , on behalf of UKCPS of leeds
the CEA address is leeds, so I think its UKCPS pulling a fast one , despite the ancoats address
the payment is this link http://www.thebailiffhub.co.uk/0 -
this has NOTHING to do with a parking company , its a bloody debt collector , https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/10525507/officers
pretending to be a legal bailiff (attendance fees)
this action must be illigal0 -
As there is no judgement, it is totally illegal.0

Thanks for the information. Any advice would be really appreciated. My wife was in tears today over this and hidden the letter and tries to borrow money to pay without me knowing. She gave me it late tonight and has spoken to the so called bailiff who has told me to personally ring him to arrange payment. What should I do next?0

do nothing, not if they do not have a CCJ against you
no CCJ = no pay !
debt collectors are powerless although they make empty threats
he was NOT a bailiff
if UKCPS issue court papers, come back for more advice0 -
Ignore him. Do not contact him under any circumstances.0
