Hi everyone!
This is another overly excited update, because we're leaving for Japan on Sunday! I honestly can't wait, it's almost unreal that it's finally this time of year
The mortgage currently stands at around £157,500. I'm getting a Christmas bonus this month too which is very exciting - I think factoring that in, we miiiiight be able to get the mortgage below £150k by the end of January. Will keep you all posted.0 -

Hi everyone!
Japan is absolutely incredible, and we already know this won't be our last visit. I'll write a proper update about our holiday when we're back.
For now, I thought I'd give you all a quick mortgage update instead. Our balance is now just under £155k, and we are exactly 5 years ahead! :j that means that without overpayments, we would have only reached this balance in November 2024.
Time to celebrate and hopefully hang out with some snow monkeys today0 -
