Seeing as you finances are so wonderful now, no debts, friend paying money back in a huge amount I am not sure why you need a free weeks rent.

Also not sure why you want to encourage someone who has paid thousands into a mortgage, probably a few thousand on upkeep of the home to just give it away for less than market value - common sense and good nature says you want people to keep there homes!

I've done a lot of research into these companies and an article will soon appear on another site. In general they look like a good deal, however the tennancy agreements are the main area for concern. Don't forget these schemes are completely unregulated. I won't name names but a very large insurance company offers a very ethical looking scheme which at face value looks sound. However this same company are now embroiled in thousands of shared equity mortgage disputes and these were arraged in a regulated market.If anyone out there is having problems with a buyto rentback scheme that they have entered into, please do get in touch by private message or reply through the board.
