I would appreciate it if you didn't pray for a property crash Mr SP as my house is for sale and I need to sell it in order to pay our debts. A market slowdown I can cope with, a property crash would probably finish us off.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

I second Triker, just because you decided it was ok for you to give your house up there are others still slogging away at paying mortgages!0

Mr-Spangle-Pants i am seriously considering e-mailing MS towers and asking for this thread to be locked. You are PMing people the details of this company when what was right for you most certainly is not right for everyone. we don't know you from adam and yes i agree with EAMD, that there MAY be a chance that you are touting for business for this company.
only a small chance but still a chance none the less. If this company has treated you so well then share the details with all of us here, name them! why send PM's? please hon just be aware that people are all in very different scenarios and that by PMing the details to them they may make a flase move that is not the right one for them even though it was for you. I'd urge you to think about that. Please.debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
I'm really happy that Mr spangle-pants sell and rent back has worked out for him. I'm glad it has worked out for him, though there is another thread going from someone who is waiting to complete since February (different company), so people should be aware that promises are sometimes hollow.
I have no evidence whether Mr spangle-pants is PMing people or not.
Not saying it is true in this case but the quick-buy companies often offer a 1% commission as a finders fee to anyone who introduces another customer. Nothing wrong with this but the way that MSE operates the finder should be openly declaring this to people.
So its fine to say "I did this, it worked for me, here is Joe Bloggs details and I should tell you that he will pay me a commission if your sale succeeds."I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Yes, it's ok to say 'I used so and so company' - they should be happy of the positive publicity!

I'd seriously recommend that you take the advice of CCCS or payplan, there are ethical companies out there, please don't rely on advertising to put you in touch with them. Funny how no one has responded with positive comments on these schemes or indeed the name of a recommended company......0

It DOES make you wonder, malestrom, but I suppose it's no different to the 'Consolidation' companies or 'IVA factories' it's a potentially lucrative moneyspinner and will always 'attract' the less desirable elements who will go all out to 'sell' their product at the expense of the more serious organisations for whom this 'buy and rent back' option may only be one of many solutions that they can offer.
