  • Got a ukpc parking notice in a retail park in Edinburgh, for parking over 2 bays due to my vehicle being a van, and dont want my doors dinged due to the spaces being small. Are these tiskets enforceable in Scotland? Should I pay or just ignore it like most for are saying.

    thanks

Fraser Ramsay, if you were to read earlier posts on this thread you might find your answer already given.

    A post by Waamo says:
    In Scotland ignore.

If you need further help can you please start your own thread and be more careful with your wording.
Your post clearly tells the world that Fraser Ramsay is the driver.

Probably best to delete your post entirely and start again with a new thread and an anonymous username.

The NEWBIES thread tells you exactly what to do if you get a PCN in Scotland. Ignore and don't reveal the driver's identity. You should edit your post as you have implied who was driving. Better still, delete it and read the NEWBIES, then complain to the landowner and your MP about this unregulated scam.

Was it a car park, or a van park?

Would a car be allowed to park in a motorcycle parking facility and take up two spaces to prevent panel rash?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

You clearly agreed to not hijack threads and the situation in Scotland is fully explained in the Newbies Sticky, which you read first, before posting!
