The police and local authorities are not charged for the info, only private companies have to pay, such as PPCs and insurance companies or solictors dealing with accidents.

I got a ticket from them in January (just received a pre-letter before claim from SCS law today). I don't suppose I could use this to my advantage, given that they weren't banned until March?

I was not asking for specific advice on my case, but whether it might be relevant and simply wanted a simple clarification (e.g., yes or no).
