you will definitely get more advice here, as long as the advice you seek is NOT, repeat , NOT listed in that NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread , in post #2
any further communication from the court has advice in threads linked from that post #2 , so your next advice is to look through those links , and ESPECIALLY read the link to the post posted 2 years ago by member BARGEPOLE , where he lists all the steps etc and what to do with them (and in which case had you read those steps you would have known exactly what was coming and what to do with it when it arrived)
anything that IS NOT in that thread or its links can be asked for and hopefully answered
I would also suggest you READ every post made by member BARGEPOLE over the last 2 years, I find them extremely helpful
so if you do ask something that has already been linked or debated in that post #2 , the reply you will get is the same as everyone else gets, which is :-
READ POST #2 OF THE NEWBIES FAQ STICKY THREAD, INCLUDING THE VARIOUS LINKS
I suspect that is what you need to do now that the court have written to you
Yes, I'm beginning to realise that I stopped short, when reading that thread. I should have read onwards, past the defences. Instead, I became embroiled in checking the defences listed and then searching for other defences. In stopping short, I think I've hampered my chances of success.0 -

Hopefully not an email response saying it went to the wrong email and hasn't been filed?
The DQ paperwork. It seems the DQ stage was initiated immediately upon my having emailed the court with my defence.0 -

In status summary, it lists dates for AOS; defence received; and DQ sent out.0 -
OK so this is all proceeding as expected, and you know from bargepole's post in the NEWBIES thread about 'what happens when' exactly which boxes to tick in the DQ (N180, same thing).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes thanks, that is correct. I've just completed it as per bullet point directions. My plan is to scan and email it to the same email address that KeithP provided in post 26.0 -
Can anybody please advise whether a valid NTD must be issued at sites where there are no ANPR?0

Not necessarily - the DVLA accept handheld camera shots in lieu of ANPR.
Additionally, ghost ticketing is rampant. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thank you. If am required to submit a witness statement in the near future as part of the process, doe this have to adhere to referring to my self in the third person as 'the defendant' or can I use 'I' after having confirmed my status as the defendant?0 -
Witness statements are written in the First Person, i.e. I was a witness, I saw/did this that or the other.0
