I dithered about joining LLoyds some time ago, when interest was better, but went elsewhere as the 'free' gifts were of no interest.

We don't go to the cinema (I can never see properly with people in front of me and can rerun bits that I didn't first understand ,via tv)). The magazines are from a particular publisher and don't contain the ones we'd be interested in. We don't eat out much and with these clubs the outlets included are usually miles away, leaving a choice of perhaps a pizza or an Indian meal locally, if lucky.

I tend to buy in advance at Vue to ensure that I get a good seat at the back of the cinema (large screens with tiered seating). Vue recliner seats are a godsend for a shortie like me as those in front tend to recline too. The online booking facility allows me to check seating and screen number before hand.

  • Hi guys,

I guess this is my first month with Club Lloyds, I've had my tickets etc. but I've just noticed on my account that a £3 'Club Lloyds payment has been taken... since I've more than met the waiver criteria, does this payment get refunded at a later date?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Sorry to add my question to this thread but didn't want to create another relating to Club Lloyds....

Does the £1,500 monthly payment need to come from external source or can I just transfer money from an existing Lloyds account? I know my Nationwide account stipulates 'excluding internal transfers' but the paperwork for Club Lloyds just states the below:

'Pay £1,500 or more into your account each month and we'll waive the £3 Club Lloyds monthly fee. If in any month you don't pay in this amount, you will need to pay the fee.'

£1500 per month doesn't have to come from external account, nor does it have to be a single deposit of £1500.

Thank you so much - this makes it a lot easier as I've got a savings account that has matured and just want to transfer money out into the new Club Lloyds account so happy days!
