Given the timescale, TSB were not wrong to pay the direct debit.

No other bank would give you such a warning.

The text message service is an added extra and not something on which you should be relying.

I'm afraid that you only have yourself to blame.

I did notice that on my statement for April it does not show DD next to the payments coming off just a reference number.

Normally end of business 19th. As the 19th May is not a working day, expect them at close of business on Monday.

Although just checking my account, April it was 16th, and February and March was 20th

He (or maybe she) is about 13, judging by the style of their tiresomely repetitive posts.

Wondered if they were in early 20's since it became common use from late 90's. If they are younger then probably unaware of the term as used by older dudes (relatively speaking since I'm a lot older myself)
