My approach is working fine but whatever they've done has stopped it working with Plum savings which is a PITA0

By the time TSB have sorted out all of the IT issues we may find that they have the most up to date and stable systems of any UK bank!0

Right, but that's quite different from the previous question you posed - emphasis mine. Out of interest, how do you know that your new bank would manage an IT platform change without issues? At least TSB can learn from their errors and experience from all this.
Sorry, you've lost me? I must have missed something regarding one of your posts, so if you are able to forgive me, then please do so.
As for whether or not my new bank could manage an IT platform change, well it's an app only challenger bank and as far as I understand it, they have built their platform from the ground up. Obviously I'm still new to it, but so far I personally haven't had any issues. That being said, if there are (any problems) and I find it doesn't work out for me, I'll just close it. I have a couple of other accounts that don't give me any issues.
I genuinely hope that all of those customers that have suffered immeasurable inconvenience, are compensated fairly. It simply isn't good enough to put customers through the misery that some have stated they have suffered.0 -

Forgive me, but I thought TSB were a Spanish owned bank Headquartered in the UK and operating under a UK licence? If that is incorrect, then I humbly apologise.0 -
I do jump ship quickly when things go wrong, that's just the way I am wired. I want to bank with a bank that is reliable and can manage an IT platform change without issues. That may sound completely unreasonable, but that's the way I feel personally and I'm not asking you or anyone else to agree with me.
I wish you well with your increased interest to 5 percent, but remember, that doesn't mean everything to some of us.
FairyNuff, you have your POV and it's a fair one! But 5% on a current account, when other banks are reducing their percentages, is good for us as Pensioners.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

Clearly, I realise 5 percent is 5 percent, but let's keep things in perspective, it's only on the first £1500, which isn't exactly a huge amount of monthly interest. I have a Club Lloyds account and that was paying a really decent amount of monthly interest up until a few months ago. Now it's been slashed to peanuts and I'm soon to be waving goodbye to them too.
Maybe my current feelings toward TSB are a bit harsh for some, but I hate being mucked about. This IT platform change imo should not have been implemented until the platform was tested quite literally to destruction prior to being launched on its customers. If it was, then how did all these issues arise? Again some won't agree with that viewpoint, but I'm quite sure reading through some of these posts, that many do feel the same way. By all means stick with the bank. I honestly hope they do refloat this IT platform to fully functioning order sooner rather than later, but sadly it's just too late for me.0 -
I honestly couldn't think of a single reason why anyone would stick with TSB after this fiasco? Surely not through some misguided loyalty? I had no such qualms, I've waved adios to this sinking enviar.
Times move on and everyone these days has very short memories.
Business is Business as the saying goes and last years aggro is quickly forgotten.
A long time ago - like a decade or more Screwfix where known as Screwfu*ks on account of the amount of wrong stuff they sent out and some even thought they were on the point of failure.
Does anyone care now? - no
Do people even remember? - no
Do people refuse to deal with Screwfix because of some IT based disaster a decade ago - no
It will be the same with TSB
After a bit no one will care what happened "last year in 2018"0 -
I still haven't forgotten what happened to Ratners lol!0

I still cannot get the iPhone app working with Touch ID, it offers the option to set it up but comes up with an 'Unexpected Error' as soon as you try! I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck.
It worked great before the IT outage!0 -
