If you post a link to the actual location rather than just the road and county it would be easier to give advice.0

Plenty of places to overtake, why didnt you stop?
As mentioned, done that road many many times and struggle to think of a 4 mile stretch where you could not allow them to pass.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
In Brighton it was all over the news when a woman momentarily pulled into a bus lane to allow a police car with sirens on to pass safely at speed & promptly got a ticket for being in the bus lane. It's difficult for "normal" drivers to know how to deal with it sometimes; we don't all have nerves of steel driving.0

Unless she was driving a bus or taxi, she had no right to enter the bus lane.0 -

Especially as the emergency services can use the bus lane in such circumstances...
Of course they can - but, as an example, if bus lane is blocked ahead and main lane is not then should they have to weave in/out of traffic or expect other vehicle to slow/move over without fear of repercussions ?0 -

Ambulance behind me, they maybe attending someone having a heart attack or something, sorry I can't pull into the bus lane to let the Ambulance, the person they are attending is going have to try and hang on.0 -

Don't go though a red light
Why then did I recently see a police van with flashing blues with its uniformed passenger leaning out and gesticulating wildly and shouting at motorists at a camera controlled junction who had failed to cross the white line and enter a box junction?
Or does this count as "clear direction" from a uniformed officer?Under no circumstances may any part of my postings be used, quoted, repeated, transferred or published by any third party in ANY medium outside of this website without express written permission. Thank you.0
