Fingers crossed for you, Honey Bear :D

I finally got to see a doctor late yesterday afternoon. I now have a 5-day course of ABs, so hope to have a bit more energy by Tuesday when we go back to college. The essay deadline is on Thursday, and so far I've only written 400 words out of 2,500 plus or minus 10%. I have told DH that, since I shall now be at home all day today, I don't mind if he chooses to go and work on the railway - it will give me some peace and quiet to get on at my own pace

Apart from having spent half an hour this morning sorting a precarious pile of papers which was threatening to collapse in an avalanche all over my desk, clearing away dead flowers, and doing WMx2 once we are properly up and dressed, flying is on hold for the N-th day in a row.

Tip run on the cards here as well. Everything to go is sitting on the path ready to be loaded into the car.
    Better is good enough.
  • Went to bed still feeling a bit 'meh' about life because Himself has presumably forgotten to find out how to access the onboard WiFi and woke up this morning with the Idiot Cat obviously having decided that he's The Man of the House during Himself's absence. He was quite happily tucked into bed with his head on the other pillow, looking for all the world as though it's his rightful spot.

There's no way around it, I'm going to have to vacuum the entire house today, because it's foul with cat fluff - but because the living room blind is broken, it's kept out the heat, so the place is a lot cooler than anywhere else at present, despite the all out thermonuclear war the Idiot Cat has just instigated by not noticing the Grumpy Fluffy Cat was asleep on the bit of the sofa he's just landed on. You can tell it's still too hot, because her explosion only lasted ten seconds before she flopped back down and she stopped thwacking her tail about when I gently blew in her direction.

It will have to wait because next door's kids have just been taken in, whether for lunch or because it's too hot out the back now, I don't know - and that means it's briefly almost silent for a change, other than a few bird cheeps out the back.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Fingers and everything else duly crossed, HB.

Dusty is proving to be a very good guest; he's good walking with the mobility buggy, he went to bed when asked and we didn't hear a peep out of him all night, and he's basically just a fuss-monster. :o
He hates squirrels with a passion, though. :D

Fingers and toes crossed for you HB.

I was up and out relatively early this morning to go and dig the allotment and to plant potatoes. That is now done, although there is still plenty more to do.

DH has taken DD to the stables so that I can get on with things here before guests arrive later and again tomorrow. He has just texted to ask how he gets to Mr T....I'm not saying anything but maybe a little more practice wouldn't go amiss??

    This afternoon I have to:
Rediscover the spare room and unearth the bed
    Make the dining room habitable
Find some clothes that aren't jumpers. I should be smashing this slinky challenge through sweating it out in my winter clothes in 20 degrees. Unfortunately the yoyo lb has decided to stick with me this week, so no change on the weight front.
Get some bread going, ready to bake tomorrow
Then maybe, just maybe if there is any time left, get out in the garden.

And get off the ipad, or I won't get anything done at all.
