    Hi April Awesomees,

Day off! <And r.e.l.a.x.> Struggled mentally with getting up this morning, but I'm up now (just) and determined to stay up. ;)

    Debt-Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Three:

    * Work very hard on my own mental health issues. Do Holistrio App.

    * Check online banking and broadband usage. Going to need a top-up.

    * Turned off alarm clock until tonight, it resets itself automatically.

    * Going for a drive down the coast with DW. It's raining, but what the heck. We can still enjoy ourselves.

    * Batch cook meatballs later.

    * Drop books off at the library.

To live without risk is to risk not living.

    Evening all :)
Less than impressive start to the day as I slept badly again :(
Went to sales unit as it was payday :jTook in a large item - it will be great if it sells! Did some business paperwork, end of year stuff to do soon.
Rang and cancelled dental hygeinist and hair appointments as both were scheduled for the day after my gall bladder op (a week Wednesday )
Started a shopping list but decided I didn't actually need to go today, so managed another NSD :D
It turned out nice, so I got out in the garden, dug over the remaining patch, planted broad bean seedlings out, covered them with a Fort Knox type construction to keep the pigeons off them till they are bigger. Also planted potatoes, and a few gladioli bulbs and marigold seeds along the back of the bed around the fruit trees. Raised bed is full for now. Need to plant up big pots with carrots, beetroot and spring onion seeds, but I decided I had done enough for one day!
Picked some beautiful white hyacinths that had been blown over by the wind / rain, might as well enjoy their gorgeous scent indoors as see them blown into the mud!
Dinner was something I had frozen last week, so only had to cook veg to go with it :)
Now aim to finish shopping list as I will have to go tomorrow, and get an early night :)

Still stuck with my cold.....was treated to a freezer dive tea cooked by DD who still can't get used to the oven and nearly set the smoke alarm off.......again:eek:
On a positive note not having to spend much at the minute as had alot in before Easter and DD had a baking session a couple of days ago:T

Oldest feral cat to the vets today, didn't have to pay for the consult:T

Meeting up with fav cousin out of the blue at the weekend. Forgot to get the boxes for my eBay parcels so popped back to Tesc@ today. Also picked up some half price Easter goodies to go back to uni with DD and half price Lindt eggs for cousins kids. The first year we don't get them eggs they want to meet up. DM also chipping in towards the eggs so even less spent.

Just don't seem to have a lot of energy to do much at the minute but trying to keep moving everyday.

Banking all checked and everything good with d.debits.
Spends book is up to date

Had a thing out of the blue from taking out parcel insurance 12 years ago when I had a studi@ cards account. Was very sceptical that it wasn't a scam. They didn't want any details from me, I remember having the account and ran some checks to make sure it was genuine. Don't think I will get a lot back. Don't know how much parcel insurance i paid back in 2005-2006 but will get 12 years worth of interest back on top.

spudsmum used to take DD and Dniece to London a lot when younger and took DD to the Paralympics. We always bused it around bec of the wheelchair and saw some cracking west end shows.
The last time we went I really did notice how expensive it had really become, couldn't get in at the hotel I always use as a base point and spent a fortune on accommodation alone.

DNMS good luck for tomorrow. Hopefully everything will go smoothly for u.

That's about it from me, have a great evening everyone x

Like many of you, we have been rejuvenating our home on the cheap :) We have bought sugar soap and a vat of emulsion. We have had a major overhaul of dd's room with only buying the above new. We have moved 2 pieces of furniture into the dining room, 1 my parents have given us :j and one we have relocated. We have also relocated one piece from the dining room into the kitchen and dismantled the 2nd piece. We have rearranged some furniture in the kitchen along with fixing one of them.
We are now giving the snug a makeover and changing it to an office for myself & OH. We are using the sugar soap and more of the vat of paint, we are bringing the large bookcase & filing cabinet down from the room of doom. We are going to keep most of the home education resources there, the filing will be easy to get to. The printer and my computer are being relocated. We have bought 2 new  office chairs and OH is building a desk from wood. We have been planning and saving for this for awhile. We will still have lots of areas we want to work on, but this is stage one.

It currently feels as if we are living in one of those sliding puzzles :rotfl:

    Today I:
    PAD
    NSD
    BLD from stores
    FPL
    RMS x2
Turned off lights and appliances not in use
    Home educated children for free
Hosted a friend & their children from stores
Set dw & wm to run overnight
    Stick to meal plan
    Renewed library book
    Collected reserved library book
Washed hair and let it dry naturally
    Dried washing on the airer
Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases

I just wanted to check in to say 'hi'. It's been an age since I last checked in and so much has happened.

Lots of things going on, but I'm going to attempt to be frugal on a brief 'holiday' in California and then get back to the hard graft when I get home!

Need to get into the right mentality! No more buying st@rbucks coffee, or cat toys!

    Morning all!

    Welcome back Olliegami

Managed to do all my list yesterday! Booked our holiday (after much kerfuffle involving text from ccard provider and calls to Easyjet). Apparently actually using your card in the UK is a fraud marker... but never when I have used it abroad...)

Tummy feels a bit off today. I hope I'm not coming down with something!

    Today's list:
    • B/L/D from stores. I am a saint - made a tuna salad instead of buying lunch
    • Knit
    • Remind OH to pay money into bank - done but bank closed
    • Charge phone in work
    • Gym at lunchtime - forgot my PE kit :o
    • No alcohol - I'm def back on top of things again :)
    • Using up some Christmas teabags instead of buying coffee - done
    • Updated student loan balance - less than 2K to go! - done
    Have a good one all

    Morning all :)
Raining again today, so I am glad I made the effort to finish the bit of gardening I was doing yesterday :)
    Received £7.66 from WeBuyBooks :)
    Sold an ebay item :)
Must do a shop today, pound-ish shop first for stuff like bin bags, and then Mr S. Not a lot needed as I will be going to the market tomorrow for veg and fruit :)
Must also check banks and update spreadsheet
    Hip exercises
All meals will be from home, as usual
DD2 + kids coming over later. Will arrange to have little GD for a sleep over one night before I go in for my op next week :)
