Morning :) still not feeling right so called in sick... That means tonight's plans are off too.... I plan to have a bath & wind down and a mega early night and hope I'll feel right by tomorrow.

Another day at home - poor madam hasn't had much of a holiday yet... Maybe oh will take her to the park later

    Small things for the day:

    * Load of washing. Will need to put on the airer as weather not much cop here today
    * sit down with oh & meal plan/do shopping list. Oh to go to sm with list & bags...
    * finish altering top - was a dress that just didn't suit me. the skirt was too tight/wrong shape. Have taken that off and it's now a cute little peplum top that will look great on holiday :D It's a little fiddly though!
    * stick to diet!
    * iron a dress and stick on fleabay. will list router while at it as well...
    * cook red cabbage in sc
    * make parsnip soup - must do this today!
    * games & film for free entertainment
    * put some things in the loft
    * give oh some items to drop off at cs
    * sow seeds

Ok that'll do! Happy weekend guys x

    Hi April Awesomees,

    I didn't sleep again. I wasn't worrying, I was just awake.

So, now to make the most of four days off.

    Debt-Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Three:

    * Work very hard on my own mental health issues. Do Holistrio App.

    * Check online banking and broadband usage.

    * Turned off alarm clock until tonight, it resets itself automatically.

    * Work disaster: last week I had to work at another site miles away. Now it's been announced that from Wed this is where I'll be working for the next couple of months. I cried for an hour. :cry:Huge emotional turmoil. I have four days to get used to the idea. _pale_

    * Clean awkward-to-access kitchen windowsill area before it gets worse and becomes a huge job.

    * Clean wee patch of mould off a wall before it breeds.

    * Seek out a cheap corded speaker to use with secondhand portable DAB radio I purchased.

    * Try on all trousers I own and see which are mendable and which need replacing:
Not as bad as I thought. I have four pairs that need repairing/altering, which I'll do later. One pair might fit DW. And found a nice pair that will be good for work. Just require one set of trousers with lots of pockets, which I'll hunt for in the charity shops.

    * Take DW out for Tapas (in the next street). Choose wisely and have alcohol when we get home.

    * Sorted through disgraceful underwear drawer. Have made a big pile of items to wear once more and then throw out....Disposable Underwear.

    * Use a lipbalm kindly sent to me as a gift.

To live without risk is to risk not living.

oh no Ally, sorry to hear that, do you have any option to appeal against change in location?

Alas not. It's a case of needing to move site or report to the Jobcentre.

    Morning all :hello:

I have a confession to make, didn't label anymore items for sale so didn't take the handful I already had. It was one step too far this week, annoyed as it's a few £ I could have made but also it's not the end of the world as I'll just put it in the next sale in a few months. Need to look on freecycle or similar for children's coathangers. So, in a bid to compensate the above I have/ will:

Cooked some spinach that I didn't finish for breakfast that is already 2 weeks 'ood' and will freeze
Ys croissant for small for breakfast from freezer
    Made some hm granola
Kneaded a sourdough loaf, now set to prove
Used some yarn from my sewing kit for dd to do some sewing, not even sure where it came from :o
    Check banking
    Check for surveys
Used my supermarket to see if the coffee we like is on offer any where. It is £2.50 cheaper than anywhere else  DH gone to get some after dropping dd off.
Sew a badge on dd rainbow outfit
Last nights tea tonight, as we didn't eat it. Will free any coriander from the bunch I don't use
    Go to gym later

    Right, off to supervise sewing.

    Morning all :)
Hugs to those with various woes - Spudsmum, I definitely think a complaint to the bank is in order. If banks p1$$ me off, I tend to change! Ally, maybe it is time to look for a new job? Perhaps they need to find out that if they treat capable employees like carp, they become ex employees and all that are left are the less capable ones

    DNMS, do take care :(

It is raining here this morning :( A few things done so far:
Washed up in the sink instead of using the dishwasher (I had a few things that needed to be hand washed so figured I may as well do the lot!
Folded up dry washing from yesterday and put it away
    Checked banks and updated spreadsheet
Made up beds in spare room as I am having little GD for a 'sleepover' tonight to give her mum and dad a break - she is 4, but still has them up most nights :(
Put a load of stuff away in the eaves cupboard to make more space

    Still to do:
Hoover and dust spare room, stairs and bathroom
Wash bathroom floor, clean bath, basin and loo, and water and feed the bathroom orchids
Make some pancakes for GD's breakfast :)
Plenty of things in the fridge to choose from for lunch :)
Aubergine curry for dinner - must write the recipe in my book as it is definitely a keeper!
Entertain GD and hopefully get some sleep tonight :rotfl:

    Thanks Ally

Sadly not - i live in a small town so they closed our branch 3 years ago - the nearest one 15 miles away now only has various paying in machines and a telephone but no people so i cant do what i need to do. If i want to speak to or intereact with an actual human its a 45 mile round trip and £5 worth of car parking charges plus they dont open on a weekend - only Monday to Friday 9-4 which is when I'm working. They really dont like to make it easy.

Thanks Dawn - I would dearly love to vote with my feet and change. Unfortunately DH's dad was employed by this bank throughout his whole career and its the only bank his family have ever used so DH feels a certain loyalty to it (god knows why as its obviously not mutual) so he's extremely reluctant to change. Hoping I can persuade him to complain though.
Total debts £21050! now £10941. 76. Total extra income made in Jan22 £109. 27 Feb 22 £45.25 Total extra income made in 2022 £154.52 Aiming for debt free at 45 - 41 months to go!

    * Found a long USB cable at home. DW was threatening to buy one because one of hers is too short.

    * Visited charity shops. Bought new and nearly new clothes at bargainamous prices.

    * KonAlly'd the broom cupboard. This will save us time, it was a mess.

    * On closer examination the mould was worse than I thought. Spent 30 mins fixing it and then had to shower afterwards. It's murdered two photo frames but the photos inside are ok and the local charity shops have lots of frames.

    * Homemade smoothies.

OK, so if it's HSBC can you not withdraw through the Post Office? You can with most High St Bank Accounts (Link) (Another Link)
