I walked 3 miles today. No excuses about right weather or shoes just wore jeans and trainers and got on with it. I really enjoyed it.:T:T
I checked Marks for walking boots but didn’t like them.
I wanted the gift set for some posh face products. They were on sale at Boots at half price and all the products were things I wanted. None left. So saved £35 there.
I was tempted by a face cleanser and cloth but resisted.
I spent £35 in Marks so I could use a voucher but forgot the voucher  Most of the food was YS but I also picked up some half price port and some dark chocolate! I should be able to have lots of NSDs now as I spent so much
I caught up with a friend on the phone and we made plans for over the christmas week
Too much spending today, especially when I had already overspent with the builder, but I am putting it behind me. Onwards and upwards
I hope you are having a lovely Sunday

Well done for going for a walk today and glad you enjoyed it :T. I do all my walks in trainers, with either jeans or tracksuit trousers. You don't need specialist clothing for walking unless you're climbing mountains. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Too true. The walking boots are definitely a way of me procrastinating. That said my trainers are Summer ones with cutouts so not really 100% appropriate. If I can get the boots I can start walking in the country with proper walkers. Although that has been the plan for months now!HairyHandofDartmoor wrote: »Well done for going for a walk today and glad you enjoyed it :T. In the meantime I will still be walking anyway

I bumped into the son of a relative I haven’t been in contact for 5 years after a fallout. Lovely to see him. A relative of ours is very ill. Life is short so I bought the wine we used to drink and the snack we used to have and bought a card saying let’s put our differences behind us. I don’t know how she will feel about it but I am pleased with myself for doing it. £17 in total so not MSE but hopefully worth it.
I ended up ordering the Clinique gift set online and picking it up today. I don’t want to encourage anyone but it includes moisture surge that costs £36 alone, add in lipgloss, mascara, all about eyes and take off the day and the worth is £116.00 I use all of those (given the chance) There was also a mirror that is great as an extra. The cost was £35.
I hate to say it but I can’t bring myself to feel guilty
I know I am overspending! Believe or not I am not overdrawn but this is because I have saved on fares by all this WFH
I hope you are all having low spend, no spend, necessary spend days

I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

That's a really nice gesture with the estranged relative and I hope she responds in kind. As you say life is short. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

She may not but at least I made the effort. The way things are going I will bump into her at the relatives' funeral (the prognosis is terminal) so I may as well attempt to make the peace if I can.HairyHandofDartmoor wrote: »That's a really nice gesture with the estranged relative and I hope she responds in kind. Action: booked a facial at the training school for Thursday £12 as a treat
Action: drink more water. on 1/8
Angst:
Poor sleep due to squirrels waking me up so headachy
