I am decluttering and at lunchtime I even dropped off 2 bags at the charity shop. I included some collectibles. Yes, maybe if I spent time trying to sell them I could have made £20 but I’ve let them go along with other items.

I also got rid of a few things from my shelves and started a box of old heavy pans for taking to the recycling centre.

Today I had a NSD at last. :T

My new TV is coming so I spent time cleaning the room and rearranging furniture. Don’t laugh but getting nostalgic for the broken TV. What is that about? IT IS DANGEROUS I MUST NOT KEEP IT. :o

I slept well last night so although I still have a cold/bug I feel calmer and the cold/bug is not as bad.

Tomorrow I have the day off. The 4 day a week is helping me a great deal. It makes everything so much more manageable when things are not going brilliantly. :)

I hope you had a good day today.

Great news on the TV and alarm radio/clock. Hope you get the squirrels sorted soon and well done on your de-cluttering, I must take some inspiration from you and start to de-clutter x

You're making great progress, despite easing back on the house stuff. You've made inroads with electricians, swapped your faulty, dangerous TV for a new, safe one. You've got a lovely new radio, you've decluttered two bags - sounds successful to me!

The squirrels returning must be seriously frustrating for you - hope you manage to get onto the people who supposedly sorted it to come and investigate. When you're feeling poorly, the last thing you need is being kept awake and having to sleep in the living room!

Hope you have a lovely weekend when it arrives.

There has been an amazing development that I am starting to take in.

I applied for an award that I was awarded. I was awarded the full amount I applied for. The money is to give me time away from work to complete a creative project. :j:j

I will receive enough money to take 6 months off work. Yesterday I put the cheque into my account and asked work for a sabbatical. They are looking into it. They would usually agree 3 months but I am asking for double. I am hopeful they will accommodate 6 months.

A sabbatical will be the right time to get a dog as I can get us both into a routine. :)

Me being me, of course, I am now beginning to worry I may not be able to create what someone has paid me to create.:o

The plan is to keep doing house jobs until the end of November. I still need to think about what jobs to prioritise. I want to take a sabbatical from mid December to mid June off work.

    Amazing hey?

    Today I am grateful for:

A television that does not spark
    A flexible employer
    New possibilities

Have a lovely day everyone :)

Aww thanks INOD, Crystal, Beanie and Rosa for the good wishes everyone. Still trying to get my head around it. I am glad it won't happen until December as I have time to plan for it. ;)

Yesterday I WFH and had a NSD. I had 2 NSDs this week. Next week I am aiming for 3.

Today I am trying to get the house clean and in good order. My fridge and freezer is empty so I will also go YS hunting.

There is a lovely cafe with a sun trap near the supermarket and today is sunny so I am going to have a coffee and finish my book. Having said that I always say that and rarely do it.

I need some trainers and a hoodie so I can start my early morning walks. All the sweatshirts seem to contain polyester these days and I like cotton so the search goes on :(

I will be making lentil soup today

Not a crazily exciting Sunday but it is what it is!

    Happy Sunday everyone :)
