I'm glad you had a wonderful time in the Highlands
.
I'm very sorry about your relative dying and your redundancy though. When does the redundancy take place? I suppose moving with your company isn't an option?
Will you be able to find another job easily or is self employment an option?
As you say, at least you are debt and mortgage free and that is a very powerful position to be in.

So much happening. I'm so pleased you had the break away and loved it as hopefully that has also given you time to recharge to help you face what's going on with work.
I'm so sorry to hear about your relative. It's always a shock to lose a loved one, even when it's expected.
You have so many internal resources and talents that I'm sure you'll find something. My hope is that it will show you a whole new side to things and you'll find joy in your workplace again. Good luck there.

I have not been happy in my work for some time so I want to think carefully to see what opportunities there are in this new situation. I firmly believe there are always opportunities in any situation no matter how pants it may seem at the time.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. I had a massive sorting out of paperwork. Everything has been filed and is findable. This small action has helped me feel calmer.
The one PPI claim I remember accepting under duress has got back to me with a huge form. They appear to be saying I do have PPI so maybe there is hope there after all? It was a small loan but anything will be most welcome. I will do this tonight. :money:
I have claimed for a travel ticket. I have another one to do and will do this tonight too. One train was cancelled and the other delayed by over an hour so I am hopeful. :money:
I have a mystery credit to a dormant account so I will go to the bank and see if I can get it out. :money:
I am throwing everything I have into ensuring I can pay my car insurance/car tax off in one go in a few months time. That will give me peace of mind when the job goes
So far I feel okay but I think that is because I am in denial and just focussed on the funeral.
I hope you are all also okayIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Good luck with the PPI claim, I hope it pays out.
