My car passed the MOT. :j :j
I spent into next month's money to buy the sat nav but now the total cost of the MOT was the MOT only, so it helps with the overspend.
There is advisory work so I will need to find a garage to do some rust work but I planned on finding on a good garage anyway but there is no urgency.
I'm feeling relieved, the sun is shining. All good.
There are dishes everywhere and the house is a massive mess so I will be resting, tackling the dishes mountain and generally unwinding.
I feel this past few weeks have been leading up to the MOT and now I can breathe out for a year. Thanks for your support everyone. I got there in the endIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

That's great news about passing the MOT, seeing the doctor and all the other things you've achieved recently :T.
You should treat yourself to a lovely relaxing weekend and then I bet you'll be in just the right frame of mind for some creative work next week. I know how hard it is to be creative when you feel stressed.

So the cold turned nasty and is probably a chest infection.:( I spent yesterday sleeping and I still slept all night! It seemed to have worked as my temperature has dropped back down again but I still have a headache and I am still sneezing so it isn’t done with.
I haven’t made much headway with cleaning up but I will today, but I am tired so doing in bursts.
It has made me realise I should do better in keeping the house clean and tidy as being sick in a dirt, messy house adds an extra layer of misery that is totally unnecessary.I also need to stock up on tinned soup. There are people on this forum who have stockpiles for Brexit and I don’t have enough in the house to withstand a few sick days.
The plan today is to get organised, clean, write a shopping list, do a few reclaim phishing letters and get ready for a creative project week
I hope you are all having a lovely SundayIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I take no credit for my ongoing stockpile. I put it down to both parents having lived through World War Two. Yesterday I came home from work to find dh deep cleaning our bedroom as he noticed I’d been a bit sneezy and coughy. I hadn’t made the connection between dust levels and this but it does make sense. Just don’t push yourself too hard to get the house sorted. Take care and wait until you’re feeling on form.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. good luck DIA and I hope you shake off the lurgy ASAP
I would say that whilst not exactly stockpiling for Brexit we are careful to replace things before needed + have bought a couple of kilos of pasta and some extra rice just to ensure we never forced to buy something if there is a sticky situation. I do believe that there won't be a prolonged problem but I can foresee a small number of friction spots/local difficulties which I would rather avoid. we already have a mountain of tins from poor planningI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine0 -
Sorry you've been ill DIA
. Don't over do it today and I hope you feel much better tomorrow.
