That's good to know. I have approx 30 individually wrapped tampax that I bought but didn't get on with so they've been sitting there doing nothing. I wanted to donate them but wasn't sure where and totally forgot. I'll drop them at my local food bank the next time i'm passing. Thanks!

    Thank you :)

I have the same thing with gifted toiletries as they're lovely but my skin is so sensitive I now use baby products. It's a nice idea to food bank them.

I'm the same MT, I also use baby products or fragrance free few ingredients toiletries.
In the end I made up a box of toiletries and gifted them to a refuge but its good to know about the food bank.

Lots out of the house today. Some of them big things that took up space. :j

Also, I gave my boxes of chocolates all given as presents but not to my taste to the food bank.

It was good to get rid of things. I used to feel bad about giving away presents but now I just get my enjoyment from the pleasure of being thought of and then I pass it on. I have tried telling people that I prefer experiences like a tea and cake treat where we spend time together instead of stuff but the message has not got through. Never mind.

I am starting a new bag for the CS and I've already found a book to go this evening

I returned a huge parcel to the Post Office

I decluttered some cheese and crackers rather than eat them,

My new hand knitted wool slippers (got in the sale, and stalked until they dropped in price) came. They are a joy to wear so I threw out the old cheap and tatty ones

The plumber came! He gave me a quote of £200 to fit a stopcock and change a tap. I will get another quote to compare.

Oh and joy of joys. I took my water bottle out with me and didn't screw the lid on tightly so it leaked and now my phone is wet and will not work.

A day of snakes and ladders really

    Have a restful evening all

Thanks lonelyrat. I could be doing better on both counts if I'm honest :o
