I have seen plenty of old style original forums, which evolved over years, that are easy on the eye, well laid out, easy to navigate, completely destroyed by clueless fancy trendy redesigns !

People make changes don't think it matters, they don't really understand what they have got here.

Indeed. When I go to my UserCP I see two forum version options ... Old and New. I haven't tried changing the selection as I'm very happy with my New Masthead Stretchy green version (with uBlock Origin custom filters to remove the unnecessary bloat around the top and sides).

Maybe some screenshots (from a 16:9 monitor) would help some of those who are confused or uncertain.

I'm not sure which is the most recent green option, but I guess it must be the recommended one.

It's interesting how different types of device are affected differently by the different skins.

On all the green skins on my iPad, I saw very little difference, at first glance anyway, between the stretchy and fixed, bright and less bright, more space and less space. They all looked very similar so as not to make much difference.

The only skins that were different were the new blue one, which cuts off the right-hand side, and the very first, original skin, sort of brown and white, which was just a very different format.

I'm on the "old" forum version option and "new masthead fixed width" forum skin in GREEN.

None of that blue here.

I hate the newer style forum, I find it 'too messy' much prefer the old, if we are forced to use the new forum I will be signing off permanently which will be a shame I have been on the forums for a long number of years.

People talking about juming 10 pages etc in competition threads one method i use is goto url on top and change last 2/3 numbers to page number you want for example -

As soon as I change to the new forum version, the skin settings disappear under "Edit Options". Where can I find these settings?
