Just compared Ireland maps on my Garmin with 2008 maps and my Mio with 2007.1 and 2006.1 maps, the Mio uses the same maps as the Myguide(Igo), i think the myguide uses 2006.1. The 2007.1 map is the best of the three by far and its a fairly easy job getting hold of this for use on the Myguide or the ebuyer Navigo.save-a-lot wrote: »Does it cover Northern and Southern Ireland aswell???0 -

Was it the version 2(SD card slot, so quicker/easier to add more maps to, can use gprs to get traffic info)?
Or version 3(no SD card slot but you can add a RDS TMC traffic receiver)
Good deal either way.0 -
It is £99.93 on Tesco Direct

That's cracking price if you can find any stock. They were £90 more last week and are typically £280-£300 everywhere else.
Picked up the last one at Carlisle this morning after reading a post on HDUK last night.
That's a top-spec satnav.
When you register a new Garmin they allow you to order the latest maps as well for free.
We'd been looking for a model wth CANADIAN mapping and were about to buy a TomTom 920 until I saw this - the spec is almost as good. I do prefer TomTom maps, but have had a Garmin for a couple of years now so am used to their 'ways'.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
Just a tip on map data, take no notice! I work in the GPS business and I have a Tomtom with the latest software and there are many roads missing over 5 years old. There a whole major bypass near Soham that was built in the late nineties that isnt on the Tomtom.
Also for the best deal on GPS at the moment look at Dabs. They have the Becker Ferrari 7929 with European maps and built in TMC for £115 inc.
