Tomtom 520 is now £142.44 from Ebuyer, definitely worth the extra over the Tomtom ONE UK edition which sells for about £120. If you need European maps go for the Tomtom 720 for £170 from Ebuyer.

Edit- Too late, they have put the prices up again! Didn't last long.

  • Anyone know of a decent Sat Nav that will include US maps for Florida and Las Vegas etc ;)

E buyer would not honour the £142.44 price that they advertised as I ordered 2 last night but received a mail from them this morning cancelling the order saying that the price advertised was wrong.
The tomtom 720 go was also wrongly advertised as £170 and all customers who ordered have received e mails.
  • hi, can any experts help me out here?

after spending whole nite researching, i found the cheapest price for nuvi 250 is 99.99 from comet and laskys... however, these are the pink version.. the normal ones are going for 140 at comet.. at other places, the pink ones are more exp... from what i can tell, theres no difference between the two versions (pink and normal)... does anybody noe whats the catch? ie why are the pink ones so much cheaper?

my guess is that probably pink is not a very popular color with male drivers... :D

Edit: Just called up garmin cs, the lady says there's no difference bet the two versions of the 250 so i guess i shld save myself 10 pds and get the pink one...

btw, I also asked abt the mapping update, the cs lady says that if i bought one with the old map, I cld update to the 2008 ones as long as the purchase is before May...

There will almost certainly be quite a few offers as we approach the Easter weekend. There are lots of new satnav models due out from Tomtom, Garmin, Mio and Navman in the next few weeks, may be worth holding back.
