  • ANy idea of what the best sub £120 sat nav is right now? Must be relatively future-proof and have speed camera updates etc....

  • I've seen the Evesham N20 for £69.99. I don't know much about the memory issue on sat-navs but it appears to have a good internal memory and the facility to expand to 2gb (is this good?).

What are anyone's views on this machine?

  • That Evesham looks quite smart for the money, the fact that it's got door to door for that price is good.

I just wish I could afford one at the mo. I'm gonna have to wait ill the January Sales. I am particularly interested in what sat nav has the most points of interest, so you can have good days out with the kids?? Any ideas?

There are many websites with Points of Interest you can download. http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/tomtompoi.php
  • Thanks. I saw a newgroup thread saying that the problem with non well known brands is access to things like POIs. Looks like a scare tactic to me.
  • My Evesham N20 is going back to them. It was advertised on their website with "6 months free maps" but on enquiring as to how to download these to update the old ones on the sat nav I was told this was a misprint and they meant "6 months free speed camera updates".

Bit of a nonsense really, and I'll gladly pay a bit more for something with greater longevity.
  • Anyone got a Magellan Maestro 3100?

They are on Play.com at £89.99
