how long does it take for them to confirm your order? i ordered a tumble dryer with the £25 voucher yesterday afternoon. i have the email confirmation saying thanks for placing your order but no follow up to say my order has been confirmed.

i thought it normally takes a few hours, or are they extra busy these days?

My last order was placed about 10pm and they emailed me about lunchtime the following day, so it can take a while for them to get back. As I said in an earlier post, I think they are re-entering the web orders onto another system and they just have to work their way through the pile until they get to yours.
As some people seem to have had vouchers credited and others haven't, I'm going to ring them when I get home tonight and ask about my discount. If I don't get it the Gameboys are going back (especially as the first and only one I received so far has a torn box and appears to have been previously returned from a home approval customer, by the looks of the sticker on the outside plastic wrapper).

I just used the 25% off voucher code yesterday and most of it came today. One item was not discounted so I queryed it and the lady started questioning me on where I got the code, I said that it came from a friend and she said that they hadn't released them yet to the public and they are in the process of removing them from the system. She also said that Lxdirect thought that people would honour the system and only use one code. She also said that they are currently being sold on ebay!
