Hi March Money Magicians,
Day off! <And r.e.l.a.x.> And a belated Chag Sameach.
Debt-Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Three:
* Work very hard on my own mental health issues. Do Holistrio App.
* Check online banking and broadband usage. Going to need a top-up.
* Turned off alarm clock until tonight, it resets itself automatically.
* DW and I are going to the RSPB Reserve photogra-faffing, she can get a £1 discount on entry. Taking a wee flask of coffee and some crisps. We're now only 13 miles away which is great. Also take two 'Sitters" for sitting in comfort in the great outdoors. They are actually garden kneelers which we've had forever and cost £1 each in the PoundShop. (Link)
* Raided freezer. Retrieved homemade soup and potato croquettes for tomorrow. Planned tomorrow's batch cooking.
* Bought, slice and froze YS mushrooms.

As part of my stay out of debt plan: Today I have been working on my budget for the next financial year. Testing out different scenarios re savings etc.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0

Morning
Happy Easter :EasterBun
Madam very excited to get up this morning and wanting to get up far earlier than I did! dd got her a basket full of little (and not so little) bits. It was a really exciting time for her
she's now playing while I'm mainlining some coffee!
I really didn't get very much of my list done yesterday
I predict today will not be a hugely productive day either
* knitting - I think I can get to the toe decrease today :j
* am tempted to go into to town and get more fabric - but have realised the shop is probably closed. So I will make the most of a lazy day and go into the shops one day during the week on an outing with madam
* just got some pork frozen in gravy out of the freezer - forgot to get meat out last night! Hopefully it will defrost for tea time... If I'm honest I'm hoping we get invited to the outlaws for roast lamb
* get clothes, bag & food ready for work tomorrow
* play games with madam today - fancy a games afternoon
* probably NSD....
* have spent a bit of time researching bank/savings accounts. Think I am going to do some changes - seems complicated 2 x bank accounts (for switching bonus
, both have 5% regular saving accounts attached to them and savings account for the rest of savings. Will look into properly later in the week and do the necessary....
* sow some seeds
* finish sewing reusable babywipes
* do some free exercise - either an hour power walk or an exercise video from youtube
* singing exercises
That'll do! Probably other little bits throughout the day :money:DF as at 30/12/16

Happy Easter Spring Frugalistas,
Lazy day planned here, so no spending at all. May research prices of new toasters though.....ours has just tripped the electrics three times in a row so there's clearly sonething wrong with it.
Enjoyed our Easter family day yesterday....a lot of driving but roads clear. Shared out leftover food. Had useful Easter gifts from Mum - a moisturiser & hand cream and a beautiful planted of spring bulbs & primulas from my sister. Also acquired usual random selection of gifts from Mum inc a lovely shawl, recycled jam jars, big pile of magazines, soap, a CD, & various other bits & bobs. She treated us to coffee & biscotti out too.
Can't remember if I mentioned I've cashed out on Yougov so am awaiting £50 to add to LPDF. Sold 2 small ebay items too, so will relist a few more things.
Have promised mr f I will make a rice pudding today.....will use up whole milk & evaporated milk left over from my Easter fudge making. Must also cut some rosemary as mr f is roasting lamb later....I am hoping for good things on the leftovers front.
Cat has been allowed to stay on the bed because it's Easter & is ridiculously pleased with himself.
Time for first chocolate of the day.

The veggie sausages were more expensive than the meat ones but I will use a little less (they are to go in stuffing), I am making a conscious effort to stop eating pork after a horrible thing I half saw on FB.
I really like the Asda's own meat free Lincolnshire sausages. I actually prefer them to normal sausages!LBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.310 -
Good Morning Everyone
I hope you are all having a relaxed and happy Easter Sunday. I haven't posted for a few weeks, so here goes. Today so far I have:
Decided to clear desk - in one paperwork pile so far!
Read Martins MSE email
Watched Martin's extremely moving Radio 5 live interview - moved to tears
Make time for DS x 3 today for family walk/then games at home
Decided on need to partake in freebies and be more moneysavvy so that we have money left for us as a family/future
So I downloaded Pizza Express for free pizza - will get OH & 2 teenagers to do same, then a free meal out!
Looked into better current account for OH with free £ incentive - will chat with him when he surfaces out of bed.
To do:
Check when Easter Bunny is about to come!
Pay AMEX bill in full
Post on F*B more about my marathon training to try and gain some more sponsors for my NDCS fundraising which is going extremely slowly
Hang washing up indoors
Meals from stores
Hoover & tidy
Update signature once I have added up all receipts in categories
Find my mojo for marathon training - it has run off!

Morning all - Happy Easter

Been to a flea market this morning. Bought a few small bits for business, but nothing else spent
And it isn't raining :j
But too wet and cold for much in the way of gardening unfortunately
May tidy a few pots though. I dug a huge rosemary plant out of the raised bed. It was far too big for where it was :eek: Took a few cuttings and stuck them round the edges of a pot. Also emptied some big pots of a really boring lavender whose flowers are tiny and the same colour as the leaves. It had got all leggy with big ugly bare stems, so I though it was time for it to go! Also turfed out a small dead conifer. Will need to do a tip run in the week to get rid of all that, as my composters are too small to take all that woody material.
Must pack and freeze the braised red cabbage I made last night first though
Had some with our roast dinner, and froze 4 small trays for other meals. Not bad for a 19p cabbage
Load of washing in the machine that I will peg outside when done Done, mostly dry, now on airer to finish off (and a good thing too, as it has started raining again
)
Some stuff to clean ready for my sales unit on Tuesday Done
Hoover round as the dog seems to have bought in loads of bits and pieces and chewed them up Not done, will have to wait till tomorrow now
Must do exercises In a minute, not done bad on the exercise front today, with digging, lugging about big heavy pots and even managed to stagger along for a walk to the park with OH and the dog
The specific exercises will help my hip though!
Cooking roast dinner tonight
Done, cooked extra as I invited my brother. Made rhubarb crumble for pudding
There is meat left for tomorrow's dinner too

happy Easter everyone.
Well done on the marathon training NFMo3 that’s inspiring. I’m just back running after badly spraining my ankle and being on crutches. That said I’d not run for 6 months before that for reasons I won’t bore you with. So at the moment 5km is good for me, am always in awe of marathon runners. Hope you find your mojo again.
List for today:
Quick tidy round before we go to family for lunch
Hot cross bun and leftover fruit from the picnic yesterday for breakfast
the ying and the yang :rotfl:
If we’re hungry later when we’re back there’s a few more bits from picnic to eat
Baked sourdough I made up yesterday, proved overnight in fridge.
Used 2 cards for family birthday pre bought at 80p each. They look so much more expensive than that
Small hunt for smalls inside reusing previous Easter stuff we had. Will pack away for next year ( when we can refind one of the rabbits DH hid :rotfl:) luckily it’s only a knitted one.
Enjoy your day peeps.0
