  • Busy morning, dropped DS off at rugby and then went for 2nd viewing on 2 houses, one we have decided we like and would be right for us, we have made an offer but waiting 2 hear back. Managed to see 2nd half of Rugby match which was great but wet, they won so DS was happy.
DH,DD and DS have gone to visit mil/fil so house is peaceful.

Dug both childrens bedrooms out yesterday and got rid of loads of rubbish/recycling sadly nothing to sell. Also decluttered a mini bottle of baileys and finished a Christmas box of chocs, just 1 box of chocs left.

TT of £1 this morning and 1p challenge payment of 39p, decluttered a small votive candles, quite floral but the bathroom smells nice after burning them.

Couldn't find the mince beef in freezer so cobbler off and found some stewing steak so making steak pie, mash and veg for tea.

Noticed this morning we are getting low on shampoo, handwash and toothpaste,so have done an online order with Boots to be delivered to store near work, spent 1000 points and delivery was free over £10 so no cash actually spent:D.

Off to catch up with surveys whilst the house is quiet.

Sorry to hear about the cottage but it sounded like more trouble than it was worth. Plenty more properties on the market.

I don't get much done on the dark evenings either. At the weekend I feel like it's a constant race against time to get things done before it gets dark. At least it's still light at 4pm now which means although I'm going to work in the dark I'm coming back in the light.

Hi,well good news our offer was accepted, lovely house bigger than the previous one as it has a separate dining room and the bedrooms are bigger but the outside space is smaller.

Spent the day at home pottering, made a chicken and mushroom pie from left over chicken casserole and leftover pastry from last nights tea which has gone in the freezer, winter veg soup is in the slow cooker, chocolate cake made just needs icing and syrup sponge made for tonight's pud, roast pork is in the oven and veggies are prepped.

Have started to list a few bits on ebay and have some bits ending today have a few bids so hopefully I will make a round £30.
Decluttered a skirt I no longer love and Dh decluttered a miniture bottle of baileys last night, so at least things are slowly leaving the house.
    TT - 10p 1p challenge - 7p
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
  • Morning.
I have that Monday morning feeling and really don't feel like work :(.

£30 made on £bay yesterday, keeping it in main account at the minute rather than savings as its getting squeaky tight, I will move it over if I don't need it.

DD gave me a letter last night that she had forgotten about for more revision guides/papers she needs, will have a look tonight and order them but think it adds up to around £15 which I hadn't budgeted for this month.

Only put £5 on DS lunch account will top up properly tomorrow when child ben is paid, i'm determined not to transfer any money from savings, 10 days until payday and im trying really hard to juggle it and stay strong,it would be so easy to just say its only £50 will transfer it over.

HM soup for lunch today and sausgaes for tea which I must get out of the freezer, need to buy more milk today andsome loo roll.
Spent some amazon vouchers last night on printer ink, why is it we always run out on a sunday evening:mad:.

    Have a great dayxx
  • Great news on the house, hope it all goes well this time x

Hope work isn't too bad today.

My dd is bad at giving us letters, last week I found one on her bed about being invited to attend a special group as she is one of the top learners in Wales! It's all about preparation for Uni though as she doesn't want to go but wants to do an apprenticeship. We're going to an open evening at a local college on Thursday as a major local engineering employer is there about their apprenticeship schemes.

    See you later, H x

Fab news about the house. Fingers crossed it all goes through quickly :)

  • Morning, sorry I've not posted in a couple of days, I have been reading diaries though but not had the energy to post, struggling with DS he is just so rude and insolent at the moment. I know its teenage hormones but he is such hard work.

Thanks for your kind wishes regarding new property, i have everything crossed that this one will be ok.

Afew spends over the last couple of days £15 on fuel, £15 on sons (not putting DS because I don't think he is a dearest at the moment) lunch account, £8.58 on a top up shop and £13 on school revision bits for DD.
Have made a small sale on ebay and made £2.79 and received a £5 LTS voucher. TT and 1p challenge continues 50p and 25p today.
Sorry not a very upbeat post but i'm not feeling upbeat at the minute.
