    Hi March Money Magicians,

I don't have the best of evenings ahead: got to make a 110 mile round trip to work at another location tonight and tomorrow night. I really don't want to do this, especially as I've had to change my working days and I've ended up working 6 in a row instead of my usual 4 and I don't know anyone there or their procedures. No choice, though. :( I could have stayed in a hotel to save driving time but tomorrow I have to go out of my way to pick up a colleague en route.

    Debt-Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Three:

    * Work very hard on my own mental health issues. Do Holistrio App.

    * Check online banking and broadband usage.

    * Turned off alarm clock until tonight, it resets itself automatically.

    * Packed lunch to work.

    * Read library books.

To live without risk is to risk not living.

    Afternoon folks!

Back from Leeds yesterday and back into work today. Going by train not the cheapest option, but can get from Liverpool to my friend in 2 hours as opposed to over 3 hours when using the train-bus-train combo. OH drops me into Liverpool so I don't count that 20 mins :rotfl:

I've been knitting my giant sock and have turned the heel successfully. It looks pretty good! (even if I do say so myself!). I can't decide if I should have a crack at the gusset tonight, or wait until the weekend (who am I kidding - of course I'll have a go :D )

    Today's plan:
    • B/L/D from stores
    • Charge phone in work - done
    • Knit
    • No alcohol (7 days in a row)
    • Try "Golden milk" recipe
    • Reconcile budget sheet
    • Washing out - done
    • Walk at lunchtime - done
    Not much going on

    Have a good one all

    Afternoon all :)
We actually have a nice, sunny, not too cold day :j
Went to a flea market first thing, bought a few bits to sell on, plus some bargainous cereal of the (normally expensive) type that OH likes. Only £1 a box, well in date (assuming I worried unduly about such things :rotfl:) so I bought 4 :) Spent the rest of the morning cleaning up and labelling my 'treasures' ready for my sales unit tomorrow.
Also a small shop at Mr S, shouldn't need anything else till Thursday (market veg day :))
Bit of paperwork for my business
I have done a load of washing and pegged it outside - apart from a sheet it seems to be mainly baby clothes :rotfl:
Had some of the nice olive and oregano bread that I made yesterday for lunch, while OH finished up some leftover fish pie from the fridge :)
Been outside and sowed a few seeds, potted the tomato seedlings and composted some dead (frosted) geranium and fuchsia plants from the bottom of the greenhouse. There are a few more in there to which I have given the benefit of the doubt, as there are signs of life. I will see if they perk up or not.
Plenty of stew left from yesterday for dinner, just need to do something to go with it :)
    Must do my exercises
    Update spreadsheet after today's shop
Read meters and enter readings on Ovo web site
    And tidy up a bit!

Yeah, they pay my fuel but it takes ages to get paid out. :(

Have been reading and trying to catch up when I can. RL has just been manic this week and I'm still on limited technology and going thru a breakable phase-no change there:A:rotfl:! !

Ziggy congratulations on the win, a cracking win aswell:j
1LL I'm glad lucky boy had a good time on his trip away. Always nice to have them home
foxgloves I think ur cat would be packing up his spotted hankie and moving on from here. He would have to cope with kitekat as it's the only thing that seems to keep.them full esp the huge ginger tom I have. Without kitekat he doesn't sleep thru the night:rotfl::rotfl:!! No Felix here, tends to make mine sick. Sachets tend to be a luxury own brand from morris@ns.
DawnW hope the hip is doing better
ally I hope everything went okay with work, what a nightmare though:(

Have checked all banking and updated spends book
Sorted out RM survey items-that has been a nightmare with the new portal
Have reports to do but put to one side to do some housework. Just about to attack some ironing in a minute.
Items on ebay, bids on them
Really lovely weather here, windows open, nice to get some fresh air into the house
    Bathroom all cleaned
Can't think of anything else so off to do a bit more.

    * Cleaned grill myself without buying OvenPride. Finally managed to get the grill door apart to clean it properly.

    * Snacked on cous cous and fridge shrapnel.

    Afternoon sunny frugalistas,
Ally - I feel for you. I wouldn't want to do that either, especially not knowing anyone there or their regular procedures, but you'll be ok & like all things, it will pass & you will be driving back home, hopefully with something good to listen to on your journey.
    Ziggy - Great win!
HappyKitties - We don't often 'do' Kit-e-Kat here - my previous cats loved it, but current cat is a jelly licker, hence the variety of Felix we buy. He just can't get the jelly off & it all gets eaten.
And on with today's not very stupendous list:
*Pegged cheap overnight laundry out to dry on the whirlygig first thing & despite it being a heavy cotton bedspread, it has dried beautifully in the sunshine.
*mr f cooking a roast tonight - naturally we had to buy the biggest pork joint he could find in the supermarket, but having just seen it at close quarters, I will defo be maximising the amount of meals I can get out of it.
*Potted up first lot of tomato seedlings. Only 9 out of 12 seeds germinated. I knew this would happen as some of them looked too small to me to be viable. Also, I'm not too happy about the undeveloped root systems on the seedlings I did pot up. On bedroom windowsill under bottle cloches. Will keep an eye on them. Have sown back-up packet i got for 25p to be on the safe side.
*Investigated the worm composter. They've been busy. Whole tray of compost ready to use, so will sort that out when I have my oldest clothes on & need a bath & hair wash! (One of the messiest garden jobs I do).
*Made drainage holes in a dozen recycled yoghurt pots ready for potting up chilli seedlings.
    *Did a survey.
    *Make packed lunch.
*Knit more blanket squares. I need fewer than 30 now.
*Got a 3 for 2 on bagged compost & remembered to take cash from household piggy to pay for it - so much easier to do this than pay from another budget pot & end up doing all sorts of complicated swaps.
*Low spend morning out to local attraction. Used NT pass cards to get in. Lovely spring flowers, blue sky & fresh air, have walked nearly 9000 steps.
*Will do usual synchronising of diaries with mr f later so we know what we're doing over the coming week & can flag up any pressure points, like Tuesday when ideally, we both need the car but will be 26 miles apart.
    OK, time for some leisure.
    Bye,
    F x
