    Posivibes for your DS Roundtuit

Thank you Jazee xx I caught your posivibes and passed them on to DS with a big hug and 'Things will work out mate'.
Roundtuit, try thinking that your new neighbours will be different, not better or worse just different and different is fine, the world would be terrible if everyone was like you or me.xx

Thank you Mademoiselle xx As long as they don't play loud music or fling dog (and human) !!!!!! over the fence I'll settle :o And, yes, I am speaking from experience :( I've had to calm myself a couple of times but I accept this is the way I am and I'm not beating myself up about it, and I'm not comfort eating :D Slinkies rule :)

Work has been draining this week too, so the sum total of my flying is: pile of Christmas / birthday cards recycled (can you put glittery cards in to the recycling? I didn't, just in case.); and old pillow binned. Not much :( oh I also swallowed a frog and requested a replacement recycling box for paper... I kept putting it off as I thought it would involve a phone call :o, searched for the number and was able to request it on line, plus asked for two sacks for recycling textiles :T

oooh, the new neighbour has a name :D I just took in a parcel for him :D This means he'll have a face (assuming he collects the parcel himself). And breathe ...

hmmm think I need another brew before I start flying. I'll feed the birds / put out the recycling while the kettle boils...every little helps.

Morning all. Enjoy your break, best teacher in the hol wid wold. Break up day is next Thursday around here. The list is already long, but part of that is a short break to Mademoiselle land, so happy about that.

So far this morning, uniform washed, HHI (shirts!) done, dry washing sorted and put away, iron descaled. It is dull and drizzly here, so the plan of finally getting to see if the allotment has survived the weather is postponed yet again. Last week, DH had offered to do the stables runs for DD for me today so that I could get some gardening done in the promised better weather. He seems to have forgotten that promise now, and is being Man the Hunter outside.

Off to fill the bird feeders now that I have replenished their stocks. I might get distracted by the garden...;)

    Bunny hutch cleaned and airing.
    Car washed,
    Maidenful of ironing done.

(I do not really think I AM; I just thought it was lovely that to one little person, I am as are my colleagues. As far as I am concerned when they're this little having them love coming to school, with all the feelings of security and safety they should have, is of key importance).

Valli, if one of your pupils says you're the best teacher in the hol wid wold, then you must be.

Paperwork done (another trip to the PO is needed but that can wait till Monday), lunch scoffed so I'm about to take the dogs for another walk.

Oh Valli I wish DS had had you for his first teacher :( The general consensus regarding the village primary school at that time was 'if you can just get through Reception Year you'll be fine' - that was for parents as well as pupils! I swear DS went backwards that year and I lost my, admittedly tenuous but fierce, grip on reality when his teacher told me that DS was a prime candidate for being bullied when he went to Secondary school - he was 5!. In fact it's 20 years ago tomorrow! Some dates stick in the mind.

Been working through my brainfug and bimbling - made bed, fed birds, put out recycling, WM x 2, binned lanyard and cheap light sabre from living room, put Stig soap on a rope in bathroom and recycled packaging. Teeny tiny steps but every little helps.

I persuaded OH to dump one of his broken chairs at the tip as well as the mattress... this is progress... I said it was too unsafe to have with the smalls..

I have upset DS3 by telling him the box of dudes, box of dinosaurs and star wars bit and the trnsformers need sorting.. he can decide what he wants to keep and we will loft it and what he doesn't want will be offered to the granndbeasts and then nursery! I will have rid of some stuff!!!

LW - squishy hugs. I also am supremely guilty of disecting and re-analysing conversations and situations, and it plays havoc with you. You are not alone, and you are fab. BTW, I think Harris Tweed is a fantastic name!
Thank you. I'm still going over and over the bluddy evening..... :(
Re the names for D&D - Mr LW has, over the years, also been Douglas Fir, Jack Daniels and Straffe Hendrik. My characters have included Hazel Nutt, Stella Artois and Fionnuala Na Yallochan. :D I also come up with back-stories for each and every one of them, as I think it adds another dimension to the character. :o

The phone call I needed to make yesterday was skilfully passed to Mr LW to do. One of my hearing aids wasn't working correctly, and i didn't just want to go into town and visit Sp£csavers on the offchance, so got him to call them first. All fixed now, I'm pleased to say.
