GUAG has come back, possibly temporarily so I have changed our bedding which is now in the WM and sorted another two loads to go in later, had a bath (now need a shower though), hoovered through the house and ripped up the carpet in the dining room, which then meant much scrubbing of the wooden floor underneath.

Just having a cuppa and some fruit and will then take the dogs for a long walk. It is a lovely day here.

Dogs walked, lunch eaten. GUAG has gone again, so I'll just put the second wash on, wash up the lunch dishes and I think that may be it for the day.

LameWolf you a fan of Terry Pratchett too? I love the witchy books; really makes me laugh.
One of my favourite authors. :o
Mr LW reckons I'm channelling Angua the Vegetarian Werewolf - and of course he has to be Ponder Stibbons, the Techy Wizard. (He was a computer professional before retirement, and when we first met, his Dungeons & Dragons character was a wizard named Harris Tweed):rotfl:

I'm mega-stressed today; to the extent I haven't even dressed. We had The Pal round last night, so of course I've spent the entire time since mentally dissecting the whole of the evening's conversation, and generally driving myself nuts. It's so much more difficult when we don't have a dog staying; but I'm too much of a wimp to say it's not a convenient time for him to visit. :(
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Evening all.

Lots of hugs, posivibes and spoons where needed. X

LW - squishy hugs. I also am supremely guilty of disecting and re-analysing conversations and situations, and it plays havoc with you. You are not alone, and you are fab. BTW, I think Harris Tweed is a fantastic name!

Sorry to have been awol for a couple of days. It's been manic here, but hopefully the light - aka Friday night - is at the end of the tunnel. Absolutely no flying beyond the dailies done. Must try harder next week. I think I might have said that last week...

    Quick update

Dancepops is home from hospital but still unwell.

I have a very sore throat and a temperature so had to miss my course today.

    Hope everyone is ok x
  • Is opening your bag to find half a large baguette filled with corned beef and salad, a tub of tuna pasta salad and coming home to be presented with a prawn sandwich as soon as you walk in, a clue that Somebody thinks they might not have been feeding you enough/the right things recently?

None of it is particularly high in fat, the pasta was probably the highest carbs I've had in ages but was probably equalled by the amount of tuna (with a tiny bit of mayonnaise and some chopped up salad), so was very high in protein - and I just about made it through to the end of work.

A garlic flatbread with spinach, goat's cheese and probably whatever else has been left in the fridge is on its way now. It smells really good.
