Virus still refusing to shift and, as I don't suffer being poorly very well, starting to get annoyed with it all !

They are an absolute pain, I do sympathise as I feel I haven't been 100% since Boxing Day. I do feel a bit better throat-wise although whether, hopefully, it is the penicillin or just that the viri are asleep who knows. The doc strongly recommended hot water, honey (pref Manuka) and lemon. I tried it with some trepidation as I hate honey, and mine isn't Manuka, but with lovely fresh lemon the honey just takes the sharpness off and it is ok. Maybe it is contributing.
    Hope yours gets better soon.

More fingers crossed here for interviewees.
Mumof2 hope things start going better for you soon.

Mr N comes home later this evening, yippee:j so I have a huge list. So far:
    - been for a run
    - changed bedclothes
    - 2 loads washing on
    - slow cooker on
    - had a shower and gave it a good clean while I was in there
    - DW on
    - milk cancelled for Fri as we are at my mum's
    - report checked, signed and emailed
    - confirmed with uni I have no assessment tomorrow which is good time-wise but less good money-wise. I just have 1 student 1:1.

Time for a :coffee: now but mustn't lose momentum.

From what I'm reading on here, I'd best do a general "interviewees getting the job" spell for all who have interview, and have done with! :D

I use local honey from the farmers market and add a generous glug of whisky. ;)

Flying-wise - I NEED to throw the Dys0n round, as the place looks like a Spaniel has tracked in a tonne of the outdoors (which is exactly what has happened, surprisingly enough) and we have Mr LW's pal coming over tonight.

I also need to crowbar Mr LW off the sofa, as I want to move it to Dys0n underneath.

Good luck Jazee and same to Dizzy and Pigpens OHs. DH is also thinking about a new job but no decision yet.

So, DS taken to bus, cycled to work and back, then 1 hour 15 minutes to:

Bring in a load of washing, put in td to finish off
    Hang another load out
    Put doggie bedding in wash
Clean 6 windows (even though it was spitting with rain!)
    Hoover through

    Back to paid stuff now.

    - all rooms in house vacuumed. Bonus was that, in my study, I found an earring I was convinced I'd lost either in the gym or in the car!
    - renewed car tax
    - wudapa and emptied dw
    - brought washing in
    - had planned to visit mil when I went to order Easter lilies; checked on web site and they close early so i emailed them and rang mil to check she was ok. Feel a bit guilty I didn't go round, I could have found time but I've been round 5 of the 7 days Mr N has been away, and she sounded fine.
    - did a flower arrangement for the lounge with some tulips I got reduced in Mr T yesterday.
    - general lounge tidy. Need to go and polish glass table.

    Right, keep going.

Thank you for the kind words re what's happening here at the moment; it really is much appreciated. Sometimes it is like one thing on top of another but it will settle down eventually I'm sure. My MH is actually surprisingly good and I feel this is all just a blip ... be it rather large .... and it will pass again.

Put another load in the WM as realised S doesn't have school trousers or a jumper for tomorrow .... why does he HAVE to slide down muddy banks on his knees?!!

Narco, you're doing really well with your flying - well done you!

LameWolf you a fan of Terry Pratchett too? I love the witchy books; really makes me laugh.

Pigpen did you go for the jeans in the end?

Lynne sorry you're still feeling rough - viruses can take ages to shift.

Best go and make some tea now but thanks again x

No much flying done here the last 2 days as manic with paid stuff, but house is still tidy as only me here, bed made every day, washing up all done or in DW.

Pleased with myself as took lunch to work both days and parked car for free so money saved and more exercise.

Not had a drink now for 10 days which must be the longest I've ever done hope to have more progress to report next Monday on the slinky front.

Cold here tonight and not lit fire as was late in so going to go to bed and enjoy Top Chef.

Hugs to those that want or need, you're all fantastic!
