Love the sofa!
Well done with the overpayments. I'm signed up with TopCashBack and am hoping to use this towards the OPs - especially with the Christmas shopping that I will be doing in the next week or so!Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -
Popped onto your diary to get some motivation as I've fallen off the wagon
I'm now at home and had wonderful plans about growing own veg, cooking everything from scratch and keeping our outgoings to a minimum. Unfortunately the reality hasn't quite worked and I find myself with very little time spare trying to manage three children and raise extra funds doing bits and bobs. Have decided to return to full time work next year :rotfl:
Well done on all your payments; you have put me to shame!
FloxxieMortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
I think we all have ups and downs floxxie, I haven't made any payments for ages so now getting back into it. Are your 3 children still very young? I hope I can achieve my goal, I really want to be at home more but only if the finances are right and hopefully my youngest will be at the age then that I can give him a trowel to help in the garden:D0

Payday today and I had forgotten that we get our back pay from August to November for the annual pay rise, since I had forgotten about it it made a good surprise and will be put to good use. It was £125 and I'm going to split it between the sofa savings and ordinary savings as I there will still be little bits going into the mortgage OP and I'll still have my teaching pay to buy Xmas presents.
Treating myself tomorrow as going to the beauty salon to have a treatment for my face, I have terrible spots which at 33 is slightly embarrassing. So hopefully it will help start to clear my skin. This is rare for me to go to a salon so looking forward to it.
Teaching classes finish next week and then after Xmas will have less teaching hours as getting back to NVQ which will be a nice rest and means I can be a bit more flexible with my hours again. Then next September I hope they'll ask me to do the group again, the 2 groups did their evaluation forms yesterday and apparently I got some excellent comments from them.
Off to B&Q when dh gets home soon to buy Xmas decorations and will be making some with dd over the weekend.
See you later Ev x0 -
for the back pay :T
Re the spots. I'm too old to get spots:cool: but eldest was suffering a bit and I bought him some tea tree cleansers, facial wash, toner etc from Body Shop. It worked a treat. Tea tree is supposed to be very good for spots. (If you do buy from Body Shop see if it's worth getting the 10% discount card). Boots Tea Tree products are not very good imho.
Also Freederm spot cream is the absolute best thing according to my eldest. You can get this over the counter in Boots.
Best Wishes
