Hi,
What I make is nearer goujons.
Raw chicken in strips,dipped in a batter that is literally just corn flour and water (you can also use lemonade).plus salt and pepper.
Then fried in a wok.
This makes a very very light batter that goes very crispy.
If you want them spicy you can also add more salt and ground up chilli...bit of a salt and pepper chicken.
Hell I'm hungry now.

well i made them in prep for tonight i must say they look fab did half in batter and half in breadcrumbs had 3 massive bags i blitzed up a few months ago ....they on an oven tray looking great lol....froze the other half so ended up getting out of 2 packs ys chicken breasts cost 1.50 each a pack (4 in a pack) just over 50 large infact more like goujons so well pleased and rest froze for another meal. will make hm garlic bread, corn on the cob and salad yummmmmmmmmmmmmm i a gut lol thanks to all who helped xxxC.R.A.P.R.O.L.L.Z #7 member N.I splinter-group co-ordinater

I'm going to give them a go but using cooked cous cous as a coating instead of breadcrums.
Oh and oven coking them, don't have a frier and oven is healthier.0
