You're lucky you've got your DH on board and you both pull together. You've got great plans in place and you'll weather this and come through the other side, it will all be worth it in the endI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

September sounds like a very spendy month with some irregular & one-off spends included - so to still NOT spend more than 1/4 of your income is fantastic! :j :TI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200

Evening all
Hope your weeks have started well.
Still trying to keep a real lid on spends. Real thoughtful spends when we do. Went away with friends this weekend but spent less than £10 :T by taking food and wine and doing some walks to make the most of the sunshine.
OH has also been wrestling with the new YNAB which is a bit tricky still, especially on CCs, but was bit horrified that we were about to start to incur £300 or so interest per monthon these as several promotional rates came to an end. So... we bit the bullet and now have a card to BT across all the non 0% CC debt. I wanted to keep our cards as they were in order to keep us hugely focussed but OH felt strongly about it so I went with that. He’s stepped up to helping with YNAB and so is entitled to express a view and get it heard
it will be nice to see a clean sheet and all our payments paying off principal rather than a mixture of principal and interest.
It’s going to be a full on week so may not be around much but hope everyone has a great week
Love to all
