Thanks jwil.
XS says that new version of YNAB is worth it, so may bite the bullet as my classic version is less and less robust. Trying to keep to the financial constraints but it’s not easy. Think this weekend we will go out on Saturday (Sunday is a garden clearing up day as I said on greent’s diary) with cash and leave the debit cards at home. That will be a discipline! DD2 is also out so should be a relaxing time.
Really feeling the colder days. Nights are also drawing in. But am not putting the heating on. Refuse to :rotfl: Hope everyone is having a good week x0 -
Not liking the colder mornings and nights drawing inI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

I've not put on any heating as yet! Mind you today we had a blast of really hot sun today in between the rain! Im beginning to notice the dark mornings more when I get up for work after the weekend. Slowly getting darker and darker...:(Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Hi all :hello:
yes am noticing darker colder times although Saturday was simply glorious here and we made the most of it by going to the harbour for some drinks with friends, spent far too much money but a memorable day
I have clocked up a few more classes but do need to start running again. Easier to fit in than a formal class and should start doing that again in between work conference calls.
Had a good chat with OH about our money , so a few more tweaks and we reckon we will be Ok this month. I have meal planned for the working week and got a few bits (used a £3 MOV which helped) and he has made lots of dhal which is always a winner and so cheap. We have also cleared the garden to make it ready for winter which is always good for my soul
Have a great week folks, much love to you all xx0 -

Thanks Lou
`Yes a good start so far. I have managed to spend nothing today bar a return bus ticket for my commute. Although OH is out this evening so it all could have gone wrong (emoji eye roll) . I will therefore wait to see if its a LSD or not!
No heating on for us. We have agreed to try and keep the central heating off until November although I suspect that the woodburner will get fired up at some point! It has been pretty rainy today. I was also pleased to see that our bank interest on our O/D this month was 1/4 of what it usually is..maybe even a 1/5 so we are making some headway! We are also looking at ditching our paid for bank account (OH's idea) as we think we can get the perks for a cheaper amount and we can then have just the basic account. He will look into it later this week.
In other news, or rather non-news we still haven't heard re a car loan that we are querying as to whether it also had some PPI attached. I sent two letters over the summer and no reply to either. I may send another...just to chase for a response... in fact I will do that now.
Have a good evening folks

Good luck with the PPI. It's always worth chasing.....:)Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
