HM ice cream was super yummy PF..I totally recommend the Creme brûl!e flavour (even if the custard was a pain to make) and of course chocolate was delish too.
Just treating myself to a coffee on the train ...shush. Only problem is that they make it in disposable cups. The filter is integral. I must send them a message as to when GWR are going to get into the present day environmentally speaking. There are 4 used cups on my table alone...I have usable one which I carry always, but that’s only of use in cafes not on board train services.
Any road up. Good news. Fli’ping brilliant actually. Due to OH’s additional wages earlier this month we have managed to put the equivalent of my months money (I am the higher earner) into debt busting and savings and investments. We have topped up the ISA again after stopping over Xmas, put £1k into the EF (or Mojo Fund as Barefoot Investor calls it) and paid off a huge slug of debt. I am really thrilled. I am using YNAB to track alongside a spreadsheet...I think like Igamogam I am finding that paying the debt first and then tracking like a mad thing alongside is keeping my motivation high. I am not stopping this until it’s all gone and that includes the mortgage. I will NOT be having my half century birthday in debt. And that’s finalI am have so much more to do with my life

I also went for a run yesterday and the day before and have recklessly entered a 10k to keep motivation high (where’s the rolly eye emoji!)0

Thanks everyone!!! I am working super hard for it all..but the paying the investments and debt first seems to be working well. Got vehicle tax and insurance to pay tho next month so that’s a hit. But hardly a surprise. As with Christmas it needs to be paid every year:rotfl:
