Thanks L. Hope alls good with you.
Have a great weekend x0 -
Hi jwil
OH and I have decided not to go with the waste plan as weighing out waste etc just seems like another job to do but we are trying to be much more plastic free in the bathroom and pick up our recycling rates there. We are also moving to toothpaste and deodorant in a jarand wooden toothbrushes and bars of soap and shampoo. Baby steps but getting there as we gradually use up and so remove the huge mountain of products in the bathroom. Having two teenage girls (and my love of toiletries!!) means that we have plenty to get through. But in the future hope to a) consume less and b) use products in better packaging and with a lower environmental impact. You're part of the nudge factor
thank you hon.
Have a good weekend all
xx
PS. Apparently I am officially in the constituency with the highest proportion of people who have signed the petition on Article 50. Like that - expressing a view. Us Bristolians are good at that0 -

We are on a use up the toiletries campaign - think it will take us the rest of the year! Always used bars of soap but now looking for stuff not packaged in plastic and will move onto shampoo bars just as soon as bottled stuff is used up..DDs already done this and they love it. Take my boxes to supermarket for deli/fish/meat counter stuff and certainly dont buy/put fruit and veg in plastic bags. Changed to bamboo toothbrushes over a year now and no longer get stared at when I get out my stainless steel straws:D
We are also, over the boarder, in the constituency with the highest proportion of people who have signed the petition on Article 50!Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

I agree it's extra work having to weigh. I did it before as part of an OU course, it was fascinating!

Morning Brizzle
If we all do our bit with the plastic thing we can make a difference without getting too obsessed with it. Packaging drives me nuts, there's just too much of it.
All sounding good in your world anywayI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
