And it’s the weekend again
Happy days.
After the euphoria of the last few weeks have been set back a bit by a large vehicle bill..bit daunting to think how we will pay that and continue to pay down the debt but am sure we will find a way. Did a class and a run yesterday which was good for the soul as quite a lot of work stuff to process at the moment. Glad I made the move but lots of moving parts which is quite disruptive.
I’ll do the reports later to see the scores on the doors. Should be positive. Definitely cutting down on grocery spends and overall income is up which is always a huge help.
Hope everyone has a good weekend xx0 -
Hi there, more news on this lovely sunny fine day
Just requested a £15.99 TCB payment. This was gained on stuff that was needed, Xmas presents I think so thanks TCB. Every little helps. We also have done a top up shop using money from our Co-op members account so that was freeAlso I am going to split some plants and replant rather than buy new
But the real reason I am so happy despite being bankrupted by our van (see above post) is that we put a stonking 54% of our income last month towards debt, savings and investments. Its a glorious feeling. Not that it will be repeatable, well not easily at least but we need to use it as a target as I WILL I WILL I WILL BE DEBT FREE!!
I was having a little muse in the car...(probably in a queue knowing Bristol)..and was thinking how I'd like a new kitchen. Ours is very tired. And then thought I'd like to be debt free more. Thats quite a turn around. Need to keep that kind of thinking going until its automatic, a real habit.
Lots of AFDs and more and more exercise in my routine. Also gradually getting my weight lower to something I am more comfortable with. OH is using his rowing machine at the moment, it has been a good buy especially as his knees are crook and he can't run.
Will update the signature. Didn't meet my monthly decluttering goals or daily steps goals but exercised at least twice a week on average and as I said am thrilled with that savings/debt/investment rate.

Oh I sympathise with the crook knees:( I have been off work a week as can barely walk ATM. Going for steroid injection in a couple of weeks and have found some magic but very expensive gel which seems to be helping - not a pain killer. Able to keep up the water HIIT class and yoga as per physio instructions.......I just shuffle in and out of the gym though!
Excellent on the saving debt repayment and investment goals:D
