  • All is good thanks, just a nuts time at work. But we are spending less. Much less. And that’s a message. Having literally NO money at all in any account as it’s all committed to the debt pile is certainly focussing the mind. And my kids, and OH. There is nothing in the bank accounts so there can’t be any spends. It’s working well for us, that’s all I can say.

I think I will ease back a bit in March. But not by much :rotfl: clearly I work best on the edge :wink:

Running is less frequent as I am away a lot, but have done some, I am drinking again, but less. TTs are happening most days, so progress?

Will update on Friday as that’s a good day for shuffling. Hope everyone is good xxx

Hello lovely people, thanks for keeping my diary alive with visits :) I have been MIA due to lots of work.

We have been busy though, living on the edge and paying down debt hard. I will do the scores on the doors over the weekend but it’s looking promising. It seems that if I and OH look at the account and there is nothing in it we rein ourselves in. He is very on board and as I am still, as we enter March, so weary of being in debt that I am determined never to be here again, I am hopeful we will crack it.

in other good news OH has been doing extra work and is also getting a big pay rise. And I am getting more per month than I expected from my new job. It’s all good news. In addition we are really cutting back on grocery spends, even with organic meat diary and veg we are under £500 per month which is very good going for us. We have also hosted a student which helps but also treated friends so it’s hardly been a monastic boring life :rotfl: a good balance I’d say.

Just back from class but do need to keep up my running so that I feel better and am getting closer to my target weight. It fluctuates but is generally going down :j Am drinking much much less :j (suspect this is all related :rotfl:) Decluttering is also ok, but could be more. We have also made some money on TCB and Bay sales.

So all going pretty well. Hope everyone has a great weekend
