Well done on paying a big chunk off the card and keeping a focus. I think most of us have settled into this new normal and we're marking time until we can return to some sort of normality. It's surprising how quickly you can adapt to a situation. I find it best to keep myself busy and not overthink things.
Hope you have a great weekend xx

Thank you for the lovely curry recipe brizzle. . Must look up how to preserve lemons!🍋🍋🍋🍋Fantastic news on the CC payoff and reduction. I think quite a few of us who still have a regular income are finding we are not paying out as much on discretionary spending. It's sobering that this is happening due to a global pandemic but I think we have to accept our positives where we can find them at the moment.Have a good weekend brizzle and good luck with the eBay bids. 😀Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Thanks all. Hows you doing Lou? Hope you’re safe and well. SSG - it’s just lemons in brine. From memory you’ll have them in 3 weeks or so? So not long? I do remember one time them getting mouldy so watch for that.
Bids on one item going really well, over £50 already!rest have views but no takers as yet but as they are auctions it’s not a concern. Looks like my 2014 heritage tomato seeds may be germinating - wow. Fingers crossed and not many but hope it comes through. Planning on a simple meal this evening - fish cakes (courtesy of the Co#p!) and a big salad. Then we will be watching Treasure Island from the NT on YouTube, we will donate (should be only spend today
) but it’s great to be able to watch some theatre.
Have a great day all, stay safe xx3 -
I'll check on the preserved lemons. I've been recording and watching 'Daily Kitchen Live' on BBC1 last week as it's been featuring Jack Monroe for two weeks as the expert on cooking on a low income. There's been a bit of a stand off between her and co-presenter chef Matt Tebbutt over bottled lemon juice as he was a bit 'chefy' and sniffy over the bottled stuff. Then they showed an excerpt from Nadiya Hussain's show where she really lauded the bottled lemon juice! Very funny! I'm looking forward to next week's episodes. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Hi all :hello:
Hope everyone is Ok. Back to work this week, not too bad but still so strange. There are a lot of advantages to working from home and I have never got so much sleep in my life, am usually hugely sleep deprived due to lots of late night and early starts, but it is beginning to use its sheen a little.....but very grateful at the same time for a regular income with work O like doing.
DDs doing well and keeping focussed on exercise and schools work. Not too much Netflix so that’s a good thing!Three things for which I am grateful for:
- being able to exercise and run every day, I hope it’s a habit that I continue
- we are on track for only spending c.60% of our income. I need to do some analysis to see exactly how, but if we can replicate this then this is a great omen for the future and means we can accelerate the debt repayments
- having good food delivery firms and quality stores nearby, even got bread flour yesterday from the zero waste shop so I can make some more sourdough
Have a good day folks

Sounds like there are some definite silver linings to the current situation brizzle
we too are grateful for our veg box delivery and our meat delivery that we have been receiving. The SM delivery has been a blessing for us too.
enjoy the sour dough!
enjoy those runs!4
