Have a good weekend"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2

Thanks jwil, you too.
Exercise going well, doing something most days. Now thinking about taking leave next week. Need to regroup I think and away from work is the best way to do that. Didn’t plan the week as much as I’d have liked to, but trying to be kind to myself too and not chastise myself for ‘wasting’ time.
A NSD today. Garden looking very tidy. Not a bad effort for a weekend in lockdown

It's good to have a routine in place to keep focused. I keep saying I need to get a proper one I'm a bit free range at the moment. I'm looking forward to the Easter break and some time away from work, working from home is still working after all. All sounding good in spite of the uncertain times. Stay safe xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Thanks beanie and SA.
yes I need a routine, free range is a nice way of putting it. I have a lot of paid work to do which obviously takes time, but I do need to do more with my non commute time and evenings. Had a lovely evening last night. A vegan chickpea curry which was simple cheap and very tasty and then we played games and read whilst listening to music. I also did some sudoku which I have never done before ...really liked it!! Also a LSD as only spent £1.50 on bunch of coriander from our local greengrocer. Those guys are doing so well, it’s great to see.Have a good day all6 -
Good to hear that you are still able to work from home and having some evening fun with the family.
I fancy making a chickpea curry too as I have a bag of dried and 2 tins in the cupboard, no idea what recipe I bought them for!Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%

xspender a great recipe I got off a diary on here I do in slow cooker but you could do on hob:
tin of chickpeas
teaspoon of turmeric and ground coriander
teaspoon of Thai curry paste
Chopped onion
bit of garlic and ginger
teaspoon of flour
can of coconut milk (or I use half a litre of long life coconut milk as it’s cheaper)
Spinach (for at the end)
if it’s slow cooker chuck it all in and stir add spinach about 15 minutes from the end. If on a job fry onion and spices first and then add everything else and add cook for about 30 minutes and add spinach 5 minutes from end. It’s really lovely, freezes well and is very good for you. The combination of Thai paste and the other spices work really well.Hope it’s of use to someone.2 -
Looks fab, thanks for sudoku suggestion SL and recipe PF. I’ll check those out.
One of my absolute faves is a chickpea, lemon and spinach stew - Middle Eastern, it’s very simple and with flatbreads and rice it’s amazing. I adore it. I’ll post the recipe on here when I get a chance, we get our preserved lemons from a local greengrocer. One of the benefits of being in town! Appreciate not everyone can find them, but if you can...
Not yet up. Enjoying reading the paper and doing f all.... but going for a run shortly. Best shake a tail feather
Love to all
