Tough times SL. Hope it works out for them. I agree 12 weeks looks likely.
So a better day today. Yesterday tbh didn’t end well as OH started getting very morose and introverted about it all. He will be Ok, but hundreds in his industry aren’t and that’s tough for him to deal with. He basically went to bed and hid from it all.
But the sun shone today and I think every day brings a greater acceptance. Well for me anyway.
I did some online yoga with my beloved local studio, it was like they were in my living room ! I really liked it. And he did some rowing on that v expensive machine he bought last year. I tried to reseed our depleted lawn (we let the chickens out for a treat yesterday and whilst they loved it and we need the eggs they do trash the lawn!) We shopped at our local independent shops who are shell shocked but battling on, and got take outs from the local micro brewery. The hens are laying well (I gave one of our next door neighbours a box)and we carried on, having a lovely neighbours chat, keeping our distance, and in the end maybe 5 households were there, keeping up to date chatting on the pavement. It truly could be much worse for us.I then made a chicken pie with my own HM pastry and sauce for tea. OH is just putting the mash and cabbage together as I write. I feel very grateful for all I am lucky enough to have. Stay safe everyone and keep posting xxx6 -
I also took a mega delivery of wine from an amazing carbon neutral importer where the Portuguese wine comes into Bristol on sail boats. It’s an amazing story and I love supporting it. I know it’s a first world issue but silver linings.....;)5

I love reading your posts brizzle. You're always so cheery and positive. Just what we need in these eerie times!😀
I hope your OH is feeling better emotionally. Good to read though that he's using the rower - the exercise should buck him up.Glad to read too that the hens are laying well.Enjoy your wine tonight and happy Mother's Day!💐💐💐Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Well done on securing the wine delivery, might be much needed to see through the next few weeks 😁
I think we've all had a bit of a wobbly over this crisis so totally understand your DH. I'm trying not to think about it too much, overthinking does no good whatsoever.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

Absolutely. We are doing good here. Virtual meetings are a gogo here...but think it will calm down next week. have almost had no time to do any work, too much time talking 🤨😂Getting used to the new normal. Fish and chips this evening was a godsend tho, I really needed some comfort food and that worked. With a large glass of red, yep, not too classy me, but it did the trick!!Stay safe everyone and don’t take risks with your or anyone else’s health xx5
