I'm now an even-longer hauler as OH lost his job the week before last. Time for some money-making ideas! I'm running short of things to Ebay although the extra income has come in handy this past week or so and the remainder of funds being paid to my bank this week will also be a big help, just a shame it's now being used to survive instead of being thrown at debts as originally planned!
Small business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻
  • For the first time in months I completely mis calculated my direct debits and have gone over my OD limit. I have money due in 3 days but cannot believe I did this!!! I have been so caught up with outside obligations, blitzing the house and sorting out mother's day banking went right out of my head.

Might send a grovelling email to the powers that be and see what happens........
If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T
    I'm not short - I'm condensed awesome! :p

Not been feeling too great. so haven't yet updated my signature or created my budget for March. I think my hayfever has started up, or it's a very bad cold

Had another moment of wishing for a Lottery win this morning whilst waiting for the bus  Didn't make the debts any smaller, but it did give me a little more desire to keep plugging away, just.

Welcome to new LH'ers. Nice to meet yous :T

Poor babe, It may be a cold, I have had one come out of nowhere. It does not help with moneysaving when your ill on top.

I been a bit down recently and not coping too well. Over budget with grocery shopping but other than that its not too bad. Could do without the snotty soar nose on top.

Catch up soon Im supposed to be calling Sky to reduce my package.

  • Well done Wendy. I am just about organised for this month. I am not going to overpay much the next few months as the things I need to pay between now and November are 0% and I am determined not to end up paying interest on them. Ineed to save £250 per month minimum for next 10 months plus pay minimum payments on everything else...gulp!! I am feeling very determined at the moment though so hopefully it will work out for me. xx
5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
    Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
    Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
    By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.00
  • Sounds like a plan. Lots of luck, oh and not sure if you need/want one but a ((hug)) as well.
