  • I am very lucky and have fab friends too. I have told them I am trying to pay off debts and they totally support me. Since I have told them the amount of interest etc they are all paying there are a few of them trying to stick to a budget and not use their cards so muchso it's all good. x

  • Well done Jonnyboy. Feels good doesnt it. I broke the £ 40k barrier yesterday and am well pleased. Feb is a hard month for me as I had a couple of bills come in and it has stretched me somewhat but I will get there. We wont starve.......... I hope  .

  • Well done Jonnyboy80.

I managed just over £500, albeit in minimum payments:eek: , but at least it's going in the right direction. I also had a thorough look at income vs expenditure and whilst it's not pretty, with some cutbacks on groceries, it SHOULD be doable.

    Keep at it everybody

THE GOAL IS TO HAVE NO DEBT BY THE END OF 2016
  • A couple of small things done today.

Closed dormant bank account and had an extra £5 in it I didnt know about.

Cancelled advantage gold account (took out to get good loan rate) so that will save £12 a month.

Before cancelling took up the offer of cheaper home insurance saving £5 a month and they pay any cancellation fees!

Bad side had to extend overdraft until end of month thanks to wages muck up. Should be able to cancel this at the end of the month.
