It was (is. I haven't opened it yet) strawberry jam.
I usually get mixed fruit (29p a jar), but they hadn't got any, so I spent 35p on a jar of strawberry instead.
ETA: B uggerlugs* is getting the cat food, not the jam.
* Had to spell it with the gap, because the profanity filter censors it :huh:0 -

we always buy the Sainsbury's basic range for jams, curds, spreads and marmalades, we actually quite like them.
In fact most of the Sainsbury's Basic food range is really good- MSE Forum Achievements:

Don't, it took me ages to work out what DFW was then there was LBM and the one that had me guessing the most was POAMAYC in 2013.
I guess I'll get used to forum shortcuts.- MSE Forum Achievements:

Yes, I have thank you, Daddy Rivett was up at 5:30 this morning and down on the Thames for daybreak, he is one of the licensed Port of London Mud Larks, so while he was out I decided to cut up my credit cards take them off of amazon and Paypal so that I wouldn't be tempted to spend.
I then went online and updated my debt free diary for today, I'm currently reading Little Women again, it has been some of the inspiration for my diary and quite a festive motivator. I've been encourage by some of the comments already.
I had a shower took our two Springers out for their daily ritual then breakfast and by 10:15 Daddy Rivett was back for us to go to church.
We had a lovely service today and afterwards we went to Sainsbury's for the essentials. Daddy Rivett is in charge of the groceries I pay for the council tax, TV license, phone and Sky. So today was a no spend day for me.
We are off now to a church in Plumstead to take the Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes for drop off, this is our local drop off centre. Our church made up 30 boxes this year it is a really great cause.
So many free things packed into one day and it's not over yet, we still have the final episode of Crickley Hall tonight.

Thanks HTGDF!Don't know yet what I'll do with the spare money - I'll probably put aside the same amount each month until I can work out something sensible to do it! :rotfl: Looking forward to that DFD - still can't believe I'm almost there!
