    some good news today

*get a bit back from work as apparently I get to keep my car allowance whilst on maternity leave

*we have overpaid gas and elec so are in credit :D

*Water company have been billing us for next doors water! Which means they now have to go back to rateable value for the last year which means we've overpaid by about £175

*We are still getting tax creds which I thought were going to be stopped but we recieved them today as usual so maybe we still get them :D

all in all little steps that have possibly saved us this month
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

Same thing happened to us, and we ended up not paying the water bill for nearly a year.... if only I'd have saved that money somewhere else :o

Just did a meter reading and entered it on to website, and we are still £62 in credit (we pay £63 a month by DD) so I'm pleased with that, especially as we've had the heating on lots and the TD too :o
