Hi
We have been plodding away at our debt for a few months but need to get our debt-busting bottoms in gear so thought we'd join up here for the extra support.
Our debts don't seem to be shifting much but I guess the start will always tend to be slow so it will be nice to be with others who have a long way to go.
I have twins who have just turned 3 this week plus a 8 1/2 month old so life is busy but fun here!Est. debt free day April 2016 (ish) Debt at June 2010 £34,247.13Debt at Dec 2011 £27,499.09 (19.7% paid off)Working together with DH on our debts (twindad07)Long haulers supporters DFW #2560 -

Congratulations on the new babies and babies soon to be born!
Can I join you all? I'm not a very longhauler but I had my LBM just over a year ago, and have at least a year to go, more likely to be nearer 2 years as I keep getting sidetrack by fun things to spend money on!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Congratulations Talisker - great news! My brothers girls are just 15 months apart in age which is hilarious for me to watch - he is run ragged :-) Its nice in a way though, as they are little playmates for each other. I am sure your daughter will be a great little helper.
Everyone else - have a nice weekend. I'm working today (but bored of it now, hence ten mins tea break) - hoping to get to BF's a bit later for some nice cooked supper...0 -

Thank you to everyone. He is just lovely. Only 5 days old and already completely different to his sister, in a good way! My DD was, in the nicest possible way, a nightmare for the first three months! Constant crying, refusing to go to sleep etc. etc. Its amazing how quickly you forget that though, but it all came back to me after Adam arrived and I was worried he would be the same. Thankfully though, it is not the case. He is a lovely wee boy who sleeps in his cot with no fuss and feeds every 3-4 hours, which is heaven frankly! So, here I am, relaxing on the couch with both kiddies in bed - amazing....didn't see that one coming! Got a long way to go though......
He generally wakes up around 3am but only for an hour or so then goes back to sleep quietly. I don't mind as I can doze in the daytime. Hopefully he'll start to settle by the time I get back to work
Thankfully the water company agreed my bill was too high. They did an assessment and found a leak. They will pay to repair it and refund the overcharge from my bill - maybe a small windfall before xmas?? Fingers crossed.....
Welcome to all newcomers. Hello to all regulars. Clareb, what happening with Lloyds? EB69 - keeping chin up?? HPGDF - hope work isn't keeping you too busy!
Hope everyones ok.....Debt Sept 2007 (1st LBM) - £63,000 :embarasseStarted DMP July 2012 (2nd LBM) - £34,000DFD (currently) - 12 years!"Failure is not falling down, but refusing to get up."0
