I think with £42K and a few scary mortgages I can probably expect to be in it for the long haul too - so can I come and sit here for a bit whilst I catch my breath?0

Im newish to this lot too but they are most friendly and practical with support and advice!!
Taliska - You could sell them (free or discounted to us though) and youd have your debts paid off in no time!!!:rotfl:
Hello everyone else.
What a couple of weeks ive had ......BT accidently (yes accidently) cut me bloomin line off which meant no phone, internet etc  I have written a lengthy complaint so we'll see what they come back with.
our tv subsribtion company gave me 6 months 1/2 price tv even though it wasnt their fault which was lovely lol
So i feel although i have had a bit of upset i have gained a lot too. I also sold an unwanted gift on ebay for 11 quid so that cheered me up as well!!
Hope everyones ok and keeping warm its sooooo cold here today
Off to the hospital now for blood test results (parking will cost 2 quid grumble grumble!!)

Hello and welcome to everyone new,
Have created a worm farm now and hope to set up an ebay account soon. Have decided to feed the next door neighbours to the worms after they partied until 3am.
Looks like we'll need a toddler bed. We were rudely awoken this morning by a loud thump from Abi's room - she had climbed over the cot rail and landed smack on the floor. She was ok thankfully but we'll have to get something sorted today as she's not the type to get a scare and not do it again - if anything she will think she's done it once so she will do it again and again! I'm afraid that will be a CC job - sorry guys, but it really is needs must. Looks like we won't get much peace tonight she will be in and out until she goes to sleep. We were hoping not to have to deal with that for a few more months but D-day is here! Wish me luck.....!
Terrible money week - overspent my overdraft by £66 - had to borrow from my OH to cover the hole. Will do better next month.:o
Scooby - best of luck with your invoices - any money is good these days.
Hope everyone is well and have a lovely weekend.Debt Sept 2007 (1st LBM) - £63,000 :embarasseStarted DMP July 2012 (2nd LBM) - £34,000DFD (currently) - 12 years!"Failure is not falling down, but refusing to get up."0 -
Hello All,
Talisker your neighbours sound annoyingly similar to mine!! Its not fair i get my own back by hoovering next to their bedroom after my son wakes us up at 6.20am mwahahhaaaaa
Said son did not wake up till 8.20 this morn so we all had a nice lie in lol!
Ive got a lot to do today including taking car for MOT oh pleeeease dont let there be anything wrong i cannot aford it lol.
Talisker - loads of cotbeds availabel on netmums.com on their nearly new boards.........perhaps worth you might find a decent one or you may get one to do just for now till you can afford just an idea?(they range from free upwards - most are about 25 quid and the ones ive seen are in near new condition). We are buying junior bed for lil boys christmas presents two birds one stone no overspends!!!
Hope everyone has a money happy day!!!!
Oh and i didnt win on the euromillions last night so plan A to clear my debts has failed Plan B lottery tonight!!!!I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today.
