  • What's happened with your car HPGDF?

Pay day today. By the 5th it'll all be gone! Still, I should be grateful at least I have a job in the current climate. Made an extra £100 in overtime this month, so that goes toward the debt-busting fund. Always a depressing day, pay day - watching the money come in and go straight out again. Grrrr. Have to focus on the big goal - getting debt free though and being able to enjoy pay day again. Only another 6/7 years to go!

    Hope everyone is well.

  • Hi talsiker the clutch went 80 for the part then it was noted the powersteering drive had gone 140 for the part then labour 150 360 unwanted spends that is making us in the red this month and we have very little to move round worst case we dont pay a loan lol they will just have to wait !! hehe im not getting eaten up il just excpet it happened it needed doing and its been done end of story but you feel like times like this scare you into having less outgoings and for the next several months thats not going to be the case lol but we live and learn.... the 84 million rollover that i win il be helping some people clear finances so 6-7 years talsiker wont involve paying bills :) promise hehe positive vibes for good people xx

aww sorry to hear about the cat happy..I would be devastated too...hope in time you will be ready for another 0 not as replacement as theyre little individual personalities! Do think about a cat rescue centre...they have loads at the moment due to recession and with an older cat the personality is tried and tested!
Not much news here...going on holiday to see best mate in Italy for a week on 14th so am much excited!!

Nothing worse when you get unexpected car maintenance bills. Especially a 'double-whammy' like that. An 84 million rollover.....well, it would certainly be nice...if you could go anywhere in the world with that money where would you go?? Or where wouldn't you go, maybe I should say! :)

  • Hello everyone! I've just been catching up on all your news! So much to comment on I don't know where to start! Sorry to hear about the car Happy. I know how you feel. I had to sell mine this week as repairs are just too much now :( I cried! lol
Glad you had a good holiday Talisker! I'm a little envious, haha, I can't believe the bad weather we're having, and the snow that's already forecast! A holiday right now would be lovely! Perhaps more debt repaying and I'll be able to have one!
Babyplum, I can only imagine how things must be for you, especially emotionally if you're tired and don't like your job.
Hi Soma, so glad your birthday went well! and huge congrats on paying off the loan!
Sending out positive vibes to all!

I've had a great September - our son was born on the 3rd and is already 4 weeks old! He loves cuddles at 6am and eats almost as much as his dad! I also had success with Barclays and got a refund of £1,426 - back-dated bank charges from 2006ish. Made a good amount of money so we're putting this all together and opening an ISA to save for a deposit on a house. As none of my debt is accruing interest, we decided savings was a better option (if we need to use it for anything, we can still get easy access to it).

I'm off to package ebay items now, and give baby more cuddles! See you all again soon! :)
I've got nothing else but I've got my family.
Mum to Moo age 6, Wills aged 3. 2nd wedding anniversary 11/13!
