  • Morning all! Happy Monday to you too, Happy! I love Mondays, weird I know but I'm always at my most motivated!

Hello Sunfleur - great news about the refunds, mistakes being spotted etc. If you think about attracting money you should find you attract more - what a lovely idea eh?! Sounds like a lovely day out and a very yummy dinner! Sadly OH doesn't do so well with chops/lamb etc they make him sick :( Shame really, that pork chop recipe sounds so delicious! I might try it sometime when my mum visits and OH's working!

I have subbed to the craft thread - thanks for that link! Messages all read & replied to, week's plans finalised, post opened and sorted, washing done and on the line, recycling gone out to bins outside, now starting on my Lloyds cc complaint.
I didn't get to watch the DVD last night so that's my aim for this afternoon/evening.
If I get time this afternoon I'll start adding in more recipes to my book as I have lots of loose ones to jot down! Wraps and pork chop ones are DEFO going in!
Dentist at 3.45 today though :( Just as well really, I cracked a tooth last week on a pork scratching!

Is it too early to go back to bed...?!
I've got nothing else but I've got my family.
Mum to Moo age 6, Wills aged 3. 2nd wedding anniversary 11/13!

    morning
I need to go back to bed as I woke up in the middle of the night for ages. I'm hoping it was just the latte I had at motorway services - I was excited because they did soya milk for free and got a large despite not drinking coffee or tea at all.

Sunfleur way to go on attracting money. Maybe your positive thinking makes you a magnet?

Ladder good luck at the dentist

    Happy how are you today?

Made me laugh sorry LOL Talking about pork and then saying you have a poorly tooth because of pork crackling LOL I hope it's not too bad at the dentist today for you.

Don't you just love sleep deprivation? I hope you don't feel too tired today.

I did post on the DFW thread on Saturday that we are getting £40 back from Big Toe (BT) as we moved from them and glad of it too. They were blustering that we would have to pay them for cancelling - yeah right I told them. We had already paid 3 months in advance just a month ago so they weren't getting my money. They LOVE it when I tell them I'm recording their phone conversation....

Have a good Monday people. We are off to town to pay in £16 worth of 1ps and 2ps in bags to my DDs new savings account. I hope we don't have to wait while they count every penny LOL I know they used to weigh bags of cash but I did hear that some or all banks now use those cash counting machines.. Also sending the final creditor letter by recorded delivery as we heard from them at the weekend. Speak to you all later.

heres a few thoughts if your hitting a rough patch

1.if you find you dont have funds to lower debt balance any month--thats perfectly ok
2.the main thing is--dont take on more debt(bank loans--1k will hurt and it puts you back
3.judge progress end of each year--you will reach destination--a matter of time

Paid money into my DDs savings account - they had a money weighing machine - for some reason two bags were short of 1p and I hadn't quite filled another bag which was 32p short LOL Anyway I just paid the short money to make it up to £16. It's really funny how my DD has now got a savings account now we are doing a DMP...

When we got back home we had a letter from A & L (Santander) and a statement/letter from Barclays. A & L are adding the charge for this month for the OD then no more charges and won't add to the debt so that is good - nice letter actually. They warn people about using companies that charge to help you with debt and send out a good booklet. Barclays have accepted our CCCS payment and it looks like they have stopped charges and interest as there was no mention of these on the statement! They said to just pay the proffered payment and not to miss any. However, the cheeky so and so's have taken a yearly payment for Fraud Insurance LOL Since we won't be using this account again and in fact no-one can use it any more we definitely don't need that! DH will write to them to ask for a refund and to cancel it as it won't be needed.

    thank you black taxi :)

ouch wasn't enough money in bank account today so my virgin minimum repayment was returned unpaid - it'll be £8 charge form barclays and £12 from virgin ouch! that'll teach me. Got to take cat to vets as he's been fighting and the wound looks infected - £21 consultation fee plus antibiotics they said over the phone. I'd rather pay than worry about the little boy - apparantly bites can get really nasty.
  • Ahh poor cat, yes vets an essential. Good post black taxi :-) great news on banks accepting your payments sunfleur. Onwards and upwards :-) must keep up the good work. :-)

Hello Everyone, sounds like you are all having quite a productive day which is good news.

Soma, yes cat bites can get very nasty and turn into absesses if not treated.

I'm in the land of oblivion at the moment as I'm working away. I have sent all of my token payments and my stuff back to CCCS so I'm just playing a waiting game. OH does not answer phone or open post so I'm not going to be any wiser until I get home:o

I try to catch up with all your news on the QT whilst I'm away - not that I'm addicted or anything;)

cat back from vets, he lets the vet do anything to him cos he's so frightened. The vet just pulled teh gunk and hair off and cleaned the wound - it looked nasty and deep. Have to give him antibiotics twice per day and clean his wound with cotton wool and hot water if it gets weepy.
