yes niddy had a fast nose over what i have can CCA 4 of them to see whats going on .. worrying _another_ debt has appeared which apparently im paying off .. but cant actually work out _what_ it is/was im assuming an overdraft .. its not in any of the last 3 years worth of paperwork either so that one is gonna get sent a letter to find out what it actually is lol
got all my balances today .. \o/ im in a better position than i thought *seems hsbc wiped a chunk off the loan gratis* well im hoping anyway
so i started a diary lol at least then its in front of me all the time so i cant avoid it anymore.0 -

Morning Stevie1b,
Just read niddys response to your post on his thread.
Are you going to keep paying the token £1 / mth & continue to pursue them for unenforceabilty or stop & let them default you & then pursue them?
I need to jump one way or the other in the next day or two as the phone calls have started - at work also which I understand from another thread is illegal?

There you go! Sorry it took a while - I dont look in every day. I think I have you all but please let me know if I have missed anyone out!
Sorry things are at the dire place stevie. It may be worth having a chat with people on the br board. I may soon have to make a simular decision but being honest can now see the advantage of going br vs slog having struggled for years to crack this. I think for me it will come down to simple maths. I either can pay it or cant. Its a tough decision to make though I know as so much is affected.
Hope people are ok. This week is a difficult one for me and hopefully my work situation will be sorted. Fingers crossed for tomorrow and Friday!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -

Hi isom sorry your having a tough tine, are any of your debts with dca? Are they not unenforcable? It could save you from bankruptcy x if that's the other option. X be good and be safe keep us posted x stevie glad to see some may have a chance of unenforcability. Good luck xxI AM A MONEY MAGNET, THEY ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FOR ME AS WE SPEAK:pMIKES MOB, DFW NERD 1071, DFW LHS 132!MIRACLES HAPPEN I'VE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES. I would phone 3 up and see If they will let you change tarriff :-) also we pay 30pm for water :-) hope that helps keep plugging tv licence is 36 pee quater if you have a tv they may fine you because you can't prov you don't watch any of the channels can you, the good thing is you have some cash left over :-) x for better advice also post soa on a sep threa and people will comment and help :-). I'm sure we can reassure you things will get better :-) x
Thanks Happy,
I'm going to see how much I actually use my mobile every month and whether or not I need the usage that comes with my tarriff. Then I shall see what can be done to reduce the tarriff if Three will let me. They will not let me reduce my Internet/Laptop package that I have which is a shame but I'm going to leave them as soon as my contract expires!
I refuse to watch TV and pay for it (so I don't watch it, I'm not sayin I watch it illegally lol) after the treatment I've received from them. I have no aerial in the flat so I can prove I don;t watch it. Plus they'd never catch me watching it as I don;t. I really do hate them lol!
My Lloyds TSB/Wescot debt is an overdraft from 2007 and I don;t think unenforceability comes into play with bank accounts, does it? My Vanquis card is probably enforceable but may check it out. I took it out in 2008/2009 which I thought voided the unenforceability argument? I'm sure my Woolwich unauthorised overdraft could be looked into some more, it has been a difficult one to tackle as Woolwich integrated with Barclays and most letters I write to Barclays come back with irrelevant drivel because they don't look at the old Woolwich account but my current Barclays one, so perhaps there is hope they have no signed agreement from me? I think I'll get a nice little CCA request sent off today... hehehe!
I started a debt free diary with my SOA last year and got some interest but no-one returned lol. I may post my new one on there anyhow!I've got nothing else but I've got my family.

Hi all, well not been round for abit, debts not going too well at the mo, but hopefully should get back on track in the next few months. Been on abit of a downer tbh, but just got to remember that there's always someone else worse off!! Got to borrow more money in the new year, one to get some much needed repairs done to the house & the other reason is something that we have wanted to do for years, but the debts have got in the way!! I know we shouldn't be adding to debts but it is something that we don't have all the time in the world to wait for. Going to draw up a strict budget & stick to it to enable us to 'follow our dream'!! Thanks for reading & back soon, keep chipping away!!DEBT AT LBM(1/7/07)-£35,052.19 DEBT (31/08/10) Average amount paid off P.M. £67.96 Paid off so far £2582.68(7.3%) Target to pay off in 2010 £2,340.14/£3,600 LH Supporter(165) DFD September 2110:eek:0
